Chapter 4~Pendleton's Lair

CLARK PENDLETON

Today is the day that we all been waiting for,my grduation day. And its been 2 years since i shut down my dads factory,at first its very hard and painfull for me.

Seeing my dad worked hard for the company before i feel.like.my heart is crashing hundred times. But i know it's for the better,and I'm coming on it,i promised that years ago.

I receive a call from Larry early this morning informing me that Ted will attending my graduation along with someone. Hmmm.i wonder who it is. That guy is full of mystery though.

"Are you ready sweet heart?,come down now,Jio is waiting in the car",i heard my mom calling me downstairs.

"Coming mom",i said rushing through the stairs.

Our car stoped in front of the University,and i saw Larry standing beside a black matte Limousine,we came out from the car and he waved his hand at me to go in his direction.

"Larry,you guys here",i greeted him.and he open the Limousine door.

Ted came out with a smiling face looking at me and after him is a young man i think were same age,taller than me and have a very fit physic wearing a dark blue tux,he look at me also ssmile flustered in his face.

"Clark!finally",Ted said while giving me side hug.

My brother Jio suddenly bursted,"what the hell!are you that trendy guy?i mean the new owner of LifeLine hotel,that hottie successfull guy all over the internet ?"he said looking at the man with Ted.

'It's Riskove Pierdine dude,not hottie!"he said laughinh and patted Jio's shoulder..hmm.i think he's a cool.guy huh.

"Save your chats later gentlemen's,lets proceed inside,the program will start in any minute",my mom interrupted.

The program finished after two hours,and we didnt expect that am a suma cum laude.

We went home together with Ted and Riskove,mom invite them for lunch.

"Feel at home gentlemen's,I'm going to prepare the table",mom says making her way to the kitchen.

"Congrats men!"Riskove said suddenly giving me a bro tight hug,huh,whats wronh with this guy,we haven't introduce yet.

I look at him disbelief,with ni expression looking at Ted in questioning look..

"Oh yeah Clark,i would like to introduce Riskove Pierdin,i want you guys get along with each other and treat each other more than brothers",Ted said patting Riskove shoulder and mine.

"Hey men!whats with that face?come on,i dont eat people",Riskove said smiling.

"Huh,oh is that so?good to know then"i said smiling too.

The lunch is finished and I'm busy preparing my luggage,tonight I'm leaving with Riskove and Ted.

Few hours later,we arrived at the Harbour Hotel,one if Teds Hotel in town and its just a 25 minute drive away from LifeLine Hotel.

Ted says i will be staying here for a while.since its the nearest place from Welter Corp.

We enter the hotel and  hotel boy grab my luggage and assist us,Ted took something in his suite pocket as we made our way in the seperate elevator,it says VIP.

Ted inserted a black card in the lid attached in the elevators door and there's a fingerprint identification appear.

We went inside the lift and he press 52nd floor.

This man is a really damn billionaire,i can't believe im going in a 52nd floor.building.

"Wow,im jelouse Ted,my penthouse is just in 36th floor",Riskove said jokingly.

"You idiot!you're the one who chose it remember?didn't i told you that you're supposed to be on the top floor?which is the 65th floor of LifeLine?"Ted hissed looking at Riskove.

The lift door opened and theres a small lobby and a giant furnished door.

"Press your hand here Clark,its your penthouse you should record your palm prints first to have acces though me and Riskove have a private.black card to get in",Ted said gesturing me to the touch pad attached in the door.

My jaw drop on awe as i roam my eyes inside the house,its very nice,its breathe taking.

"Wow men,its really nice here.look at the view at balcony!do i have a spare room here Ted?"Riskove exclaimed "i really wanna hang out here a lot".

"You're really an idiot Riskove asking that question,ofcourse its automatic that thiss penthouse has a secret bachelor's lair like yours",Ted said.

"Wait,what?secret lair?where?"i asked confused.

Ted gestured ua to follow him.

Near the laundry area is a small black door,well you can't just identify it's other unless you axamine it thoroughly.

Ted press a flat button in the upper right side of the doorr and it open,few steps forward,there's another door and a stairs downward,it's acutally 18 steps down.

We reached downstairs and he lights automatically opened,its a large room,nicely decorated.with black and white.

There is an office,a pantry,a mini bar,a living room and lots of high technolofy things around.

"Wow,this place is damn amazing Ted",i mumbled in a lower faded voice.

"Close your mouth men,you might catch a fly",Riskove said teasing me..

We sat on the living area and talk about something,Ted instructing that all my computers data here are all connected with all the lairs,well i dont know yet how many are they.

"Ted i thought M1 is comming?",Riskove asked.

Yeah i remember he mentioned to me he's bringing 2 with him in my graduatuon.

"That bastard!he got in trouble again with that teen idol",Ted exclaimed.

"Who is it Ted?"i asked.

Riskove answered."he's the gud guy Clark,the great little Brad Looney,Ted's M2 and he's the youngest",he chuckled.

"I guess there's a lot of us huh?where can i meet him?"i asken smirking.

"Soon Clark,when he arrived,my tracker says he is in Japan right now",Ted said.

"Just bear with him Ted,he's just 20,but he's no joke you know that,and..he's a really good guy",Riskove said and Ted nodded."yeah right,that bulshit is so damn good in every way".
