The Grimm: Infinite Stratos Fanfic

Chapter 1: Intro

It was summer break at Japan. Kensuke decided to stay at Tabane's island for the whole vacation. Meanwhile, Shinonono Tabane had been invited to attend Infinite Stratos Academy of Malaysia to celebrate their 4th year anniversary. As her secretary/butler, Kensuke had no choice but to attend there as well. As much as it hurts his heart, he must follow her for he had vowed to serve her. This story will reveal the reason behind Kensuke's violent tendencies towards his enemies.

-At Base-

"Kensuke-kun~ Where are you~?" Tabane walked around the lab while calling for her butler, Kensuke. He was known for being a bee at "The Lab". Although it is called as lab, but it is more pf a workshop but it has the latest technology needed to create the greatest weapon. It is called as "The Lab" because he modified the interiors and added the tools which can be normally found at a lab because he does not just fight using brute force, sometimes using smoke bombs, which can only be made safely at a lab. Hence, his workplace is called "The Lab". When he starts to work, he will focus on the task at hand. However, he would work without noticing the time. There was once a time where he worked there for hours without noticing it.

"Kensuke-kun, where are you?", she called for his name for the 13th time already. On the 14th time, she saw him next to what seemed to be a prototype for his next "toy", or so what he called it. He held a notepad which he writes the notes on. Notes that are important for him, if he wanted to improve the weapon. The weapon that could be proven useful to fight The Phantom Task that are growing stronger. In his mind, no sacrifice is too great, if it means to defeat The Phantom Task. Even if he has to sell his soul to the devil.

The weapon appeared to have a scythe-like shape. It had wires attached to the body which were connected to the computers on both its sides. The computers showed images and data of the weapon. Its power, length, mass and etc. He jotted down the numbers showed on the screen of the computers on his notepad. He will examine them later.

The look on his face was stern. He was so focused on his work. He did not hear the call for his name by Tabane. He could not slack off. He had no choice. As time passed, The Phantom Task grew stonger. He did not know who supplied them with the resources or the weapons. But one thing he knew, it was that he will defeat them and destroy that wretched organisation. Not to mention that none of its members are captured, or killed. Well, none of the core members or the strong ones. He did not care for the low-ranking members. To him, they were just pests. Pests whose purpose were to prevent him from reaching their queen. For that reason, he did not hesitate to wipe them out.

"Kensuke-kun!", Tabane yelled at him from his behind. He almost dropped his notes. He turned towards his back on surprised when he saw Tabane was standing in front of him, her face was close to his, with angry expression on her face, and both her hands on her hips. He knew, it would not be good. He might either get scolded or punished. But still, he had to face it.

"Why didn't you answer my calling? I've been calling your name for a few times already!", She yelled at him. Not a good sign.
"I was...busy with the new weapon, Master. Sorry I didn't hear ya. I-"
"Oh zip it. It's okay."
"Oh, okay then, Master. Is there anything I can help you with?",
"Yeah. Pack up your stuff for tomorrow. We'll go at around 6 or 7."
"Wait", he scratched his head. "Why and where are we going?",
"Oh, we're going to Malaysia"
He scratched his head then tilted it to the left a little. "But, why?"
Tabane put her hand on her forehead, "You honestly forgot? We're going to Malaysia Infinite Stratos Academy to celebrate their 4th anniversary. I got invited."

As soon as Tabane finished her sentence, Kensuke dropped his notepad. His face showed a shocked expression. A cold sweat dripped down his cheek. His left hand trembled.

Tabane saw his hand was shaking and held it, "Are you okay? Is there something wrong?"
Kensuke smiled, "Nah. Nothing. Don't worry about it, Master."

Eventhough he said that, Tabane still concerned about him. "Look, if there's anything you wanna talk about, you can tell me about it, okay? I'm your Master affterall. And it is a Master's duty to take care of her....pet"

Kensuke blushed a little after she said that. "You're still gonna call me that?"
Tabane put her hand on Kensuke's left cheek. "Hey, you're still my pet. You know that right?", she patted his head. "Anyway, sleep early tonight. We have to go there tomorrow."

Kensuke let out a sigh. "Yes, Master." .
"Good! Well then, goodnight, Kensuke!", she said as she left him.

After Tabane left, he continued to work on the new weapon. If he finished it by that night, he could give it a run tomorrow, at the Academy.

After 2 hours, he finished it. He had finished his newest weapon. He was exhausted, but glad he finished it earlier than he expected. He let out a sigh and looked at the clock, it was almost 2 o'clock in the morning. He was shocked. His eyes widened.

"Shit. I have to pack up." He grabbed one of the empty capsules and transferred the data of the weapon from the computer into it. After 15 minutes, the screen on the capsule showed COMPLETE.

-In his room-

After packing his stuff for tomorrow, Kensuke changed into his shorts then lied on the bed. As he was trying to sleep, he thought of the place he will go on the next day. He gave a thought about it for a few seconds until his mouth uttered the word he never spoke off ever since.

"..............Athena..".
