Okay first quick one shot, mainly featuring the first years.
THE FEAST
It was a new year at Hogwarts, and all the first years had been sorted into their houses. Dumbledore was nearing the end of his speech, including rules, expectations and random words slipped in for no apparent reason.
He was explaining how the forest was out of bounds when he was interrupted by a hand being waved in the air by someone over at the Slytherin table.
"Yes?" He asked.
The girl whose hand had been raised stood up, holding an iPhone in her hand. "Does Hogwarts have wifi?" She asked.
The whole hall looked over to her, most of them wondering about what the hell wifi was.
"Because I'm running really low on 3G and our mum wanted us to text her when we got here." The girl, who had bright red hair, continued.
A few whispered murmurs spread through the great hall. "Wifi?", "Three Gee?", "Text?".
Dumbledore himself looked quite amused, apart from having absolutely no idea what the red headed girl was talking about.
"I'm afraid that no, we don't have this wifi thing,"
"What?" Multiple people had stood up around the room.
"No wifi?" A girl at the with long wavy brown hair asked, her blue-green eyes wide. "How am I supposed to survive? How am I supposed to run my fandom Instagram without wifi?"
"Is it to late to pull out?" Another girl asked, this one with light brown curls, from the Hufflepuff table.
A few other first years feinted in sync.
A Gryffindor stood up from her table. "Don't worry, you'll survive. I managed." She had a distinctive Canadian accent.
"But my 3G doesn't get refilled for like a week, and the reception here is terrible!" The red headed girl continued, and then suddenly, her phone began to spark.
A few of the slytherins near her jumped back, including a girl next to her with the same red hair.
The first girl dropped her phone onto the table and swore loudly. "What just happened to my phone?" She demanded, staring at Dumbledore.
"Muggle technology and Hogwarts do not mix very well." He answered. "And to the rest of you, if you have any electronic items on you, I suggest you send them back home tonight, or that-" He gestured at the still sparking phone, "-Will happen."
"Great," The girl with wavy brown hair declared. "No wifi, no phones, not sure how this could get any worse.
Professor Snape stood up from his position at the staff table. "How about a detention? You did interrupt the Headmaster's speech." He gestured at the redhead, the Canadian accented girl who was still standing, the Hufflepuff who had spoken and the girl with wavy hair.
"You're kidding me right?" The redhead asked.
Professor Snape glared at the four.
"I guess not."
"Great, just great." The Hufflepuff girl muttered.
"No wifi, no technology and a detention. How about you just take away our freedom while you're at it?" The wavy haired girl asked.
"Enough! See me after the feast at the front of the hall," Snape commanded, and the four quickly dropped to their seats.
The redhead girl stared down forlornly at what had used to be her iPhone 5.

Okay sorry if that wasn't the best, but this is only the first one. I know no names are mentioned so it's probably a but confusing, but the four mains in this one were Ashi Fell (redhead), Samantha Smith, Cassandra Morgan and Rani Stone.
