The sounds of the jungle filled the camp. The sun peeked through the trees as the early morning woke the Congo wild life. Cypress had become accustomed to the noises of the jungle  that even the twittering and roars couldn't wake her; but the soft grunts and nudging of the creature she had been researching for months did finally wake her. She pulled the sheet from her head revealing the mess of brown hair and tan half sunburned skin.

"Morning Bubba" she stared into the funny face of the baby Tebo - a warthog creature that could turn invisible. It grunted gently and trotted out of the tent. Cypress stretched and grabbed her boots, before she could get them tied she heard a squeal of her Tebo.

She rushed out of her tent and looked around, Professor Sulkic popped his head from his tent and Michel rolled out of his tent.

Bubba had turned invisible but thankfully cypress had attached a red band with a bell to its neck so she could track him. She looked at the fire pit and saw what had frightened Bubba.

Her sister's face was floating slightly in above the pit.

"Finley!" Cypress gasped and fanned the fire to make the image stronger.

"Cypress! Can u hear me?!"

"Finley! What's wrong? Are you OK?!" Cypress yelled.

"Cy I need your help! Remus is hurt, he's not himself, he needs your help."

"Fin I'm not a doctor, he needs to go to St. Mungos, he's not an animal I can't help him."

"He's not himself Cy, please! He needs your help! What would mom say if she heard you didn't help?" Cypress fumed at this comment.

"That's not even fair Fin"

"Please Cy..... for me" her sister pleaded. Cy sighed."Keep the light on" she said and the image disappeared.

Cypress ran back to her tent and quickly loaded up her two travel bags. She waved her wand and her tent folded into her bag.

"I'm sorry professor." She turned to her advisor. " it's a hard time, your family needs you, but I must warn you. Stay away from the war." He said in his deep voice.

"War?" Cypress asked. "Go you'll miss you window." Michel said and handed her the floo powder. Cypress nodded

"take care of Bubba" she yelled. "12 Grimmauld place" she pronounced loudly over the fire pit.

With a whoosh of fire and smoke she was suddenly sitting in an old England fire place.

"Cy!" Finely tackled her older sister in a hug. "Oh Cy thank you so much, come on he's in here" Finley dragged her sister into the dining room.

A large werewolf was stretched across the table. He was whimpering in pain as Sirius and James was trying to stop the bleeding on several contusions along its side.

"Cypress? Oh Finley your a genius!" Lily is exclaimed. "Move boys let her take a look" lily ordered pushing them aside.

Cypress quickly got her barrings and immediately went into vet mode. She surveyed the wounds, and the animal. "Peter I need a large pot of boiling water. Lily go fetch some towels. James, Sirius whose strongest?" They stared at each other, Cy knew James was athletic but Sirius seemed sturdier.

"James I need you use a shaving spelling and shave the fur off Remus side, Sirius I'll need you to hold him up, get on the table if you have to." They stared at cypress then looked at Finley. "Now!" Finley snapped.

"Fin I need my bag" Cy ordered. Finley pulled Cy's medical bag on to the table. Cy waved her wand and an assortment of medicinal items laid out on the table. Cy prepared a sedative first and loaded a syringe.

"Sirius turn his head and hold him tight. Fin hold his legs together" they did as she said. With a quick stab Cy injected Remus with the medicine. The wolf howled and whimpered but quickly became motionless.

"Is he-" Sirius stuttered out. "He's sedated, he can sleep till the healing is over and hopefully till he can transform back." Cypress said as she concocted some paste.

" why can't we just use a spell?" James said in frustration. Lily came in with the towels and slapped his arm. "Shush James, cypress is an expert."

"But he's right why not" Sirius blurted out. Cypress removed her surgical glasses and looked up at them.

"Werewolf blood and saliva are the most potent in the world. Using a spell to patch you up won't work on a wolf. Then blood will become infected from the magic and he could be either stuck as a deformed wolf or die. There's only two ways of doing this. Using a wormswood mixture and stitching the wounds and letting them close themselves to avoid expose or putting the wolf down. So what do you choose you bloody twats?! Death or Stitches cause I can do both." Cypress grumbled at them.

She remembered these boys. These young boys that were inseparable in school. They had grown so much over these past few years, she knew they wouldn't let him die. They'd kill her before letting him die.

James nodded and pulled Sirius out of the room. Cypress looked at her sister. Finley was tearing up but staring down at the beast. Cypress knew the conflicted feeling Finley had to Remus, and either way Cypress would heal him.

She finished the paste. It stopped the bleeding, letting Cy starting stitching.
