CHAPTER 2

Lumiere's P.O.V
         When I arrived home it was already pretty dark. 'Sigh!' I let out. My bangs are constantly falling down to my face. It was being held by the pin that was given to me by the demon king himself.

          I don't remember were I had dropped it. But it said that it will protect me. Thinking those things I let out another 'sigh!' of disappointment. 'Lumiere what happened? And where's your pin?' My sister Seiya asked as she looked both worried and curious. 'I-I lost it' I answered. 'What!? You lost it? That pin was given to you by the demon king himself!' My sister shouted 'sigh! Nevermind come here lets fix your hair' she said as she began to braid my hair.

          I knew at that very moment that my sister Seiya, was pretty disappointed. I can't blame her though it was a gift not only that but protection runes was casted around it. 'Sigh!' I let out being more disappointed at what I have done. 'Lumiere dont worry. I'm sure everything will be quite alright.' Seiya said with a smile on her face.

~time skip~

          A week has already passed since that day... ' Lumiere I'll be going for a hunt. Will you be going anywhere today?' My sister asked as she took her sword and a rope. 'Yup I'll pick up some ingredients for the orders that I had received today.' I said grabbing a basket. 'Alright just be careful and try not to do something recklessly.' Seiya reminded me as she ran out of the house saying ' Alright I'll get going!'. As she did so I made my way out of the house making sure it was locked. And made my way to the forest to pick a couple of fruits. Until... 'seriously? You guys are too weak!' A man said as he kicked the poor fairy who was lying down the ground wounded. I couldn't take the sight of the child so without hesitating nor thinking twice. I just had to stop them no matter what. So... 'Stop this!!' I shouted desperately as I headed towards the fairy child.

          I saw them panic as they looked at me. I know the reason though. It's because of my appearance.

          And with that much panic they accidentally stabbed me with the knife that they were holding. '*Cough..' I winced trying to keep my balance as I stood infront of them. 'Tsk.. thought your some kind of demon' the man said who was holdong out a knife. 'Tell me us why did you take the hit. Your human just like us so why?' The other said looking at me. 'His a kid. No matter which race his from.' I said giving out a weak smile. The man with the knife got agitated. So he punched me and stabbed me again. The other man tried to stopped him and after so they both ran away.

          I was barely holding on. But I know I needed to be strong. After all the kid beside me is severely injured he is also crying in pain and was scared to the bone. So I tried to make him calm by smiling and telling him 'Don't be scared everything would be alright.' As I said that I helped the poor child sit up. As I did so 'You do know I'm not a child even though i my appearance suggests so.' He said I only answered 'I know but I would have done the same may you look old or may you be from any race.' With that I smiled once more as I began to sing my lullaby. Until -fwoosh- a sound of a flapping wings was heard. 'Lady Lumiere you are severeky wounded!' Said the low class demon who is now infront of me. 'I'll be just fine but please do tell Elizabeth to come here.' I said as the demon only answered 'Understood!' And with that the demon left. The fairy child that was with me was startled but I sang my lullaby once more to calm him down.
