this story is about little abby who finds out the day before her 8th birthday that she is going to be deaf and that her daddy has cancer tragic right? well then her dad gets a new job in florida so they have to move from new york all the way to Florida she looses all her friends and gets teasted cuz she's the almost deaf new girl and guess what else she doesn't even know her own mom she's never met her or seen her at all... but when she gets a letter from her mom that says she wants to meet up everything changes
