Min Yoongi was working late, later than usual as he had way more customers in due to it being the festive season. He was never one for Christmas but he put up with the trees, decorations and everything else including the annoyance of overplayed Christmas songs. Just as he thought the last customer had been served the bell above the door rang once again and a sigh of exasperation left his lips. He didn't know though that it was the short brown haired male, had come through the door. To Yoongi's surprise he bowed his head when he approached the desk, the smaller male giving Yoongi a bright sweet delicate smile showing his pearl teeth.

The male was his roommate, Jung Hoseok who had a way brighter personality than Yoongi did, he was also hyper and very giving. Hoseok was never rude or disrespectful unless necessary and he was always there for Yoongi despite his growing crush which was more and more obvious everyday, so much he didn't even bother to hide it.

'Is today that day then?' Hoseok asked Yoongi with a sweet tone as he handed his strong black coffee he had bought him specially, he sipped his own iced cappuccino with the corner of his lip curled in a sultry manner.
'What do you mean?' He replied as if he didn't know what Hoseok was getting at, he obviously did. Yoongi had been asked the same question for the 3rd time that month and it was slowly becoming tiresome.

'You know what I mean, do you like me yet?' Hoseok asked with a soft small giggle of hope as he held his cup by the rim, the straw poking through his fingers.
'I've told you before cutie, I don't love anyone' Yoongi hummed out deeply before taking a sip of the strong coffee he needed after such a tiring day at work. He heard Hoseok release a huff of defeat once again as he looked to his feet but it made Yoongi laugh a little, 'Hoseok...you really are forgetful aren't you?'

'Huh?' The smaller boy looked up.

'Do you always forget that I told you I don't love, will never love? It's quite...impossible. My heart isn't there' Yoongi retold him as he grabbed his leather jacket slipping each arm into the sleeves pulling it up. Hoseok gave a subtle nod as he watched Yoongi get ready to leave. His heart pounded though, despite being put down on the spot again but he was still very hopeful something might come between them one day. He flashed a small smile as he thought of Yoongi, even if he were standing in front of him. He always found the male handsome and attractive no matter what he was doing and he couldn't stop his heart from fluttering other than when Yoongi would tell him he doesn't like him in a romantic way.

'Come on then Seok' Yoongi called to the boy who was in a daydream making the smaller boy spin round to see Yoongi by the door already. He waved to his colleagues pulling his roommate along with him getting a small pack of cigarettes out of his jacket pocket. He slowly placed a cigarette between his lips and lit it with a small lighter Hoseok had gifted him one birthday. He did admire his roommate but never in a romantic way. Yoongi had never been in love with anyone, he figured that he was Aromantic around the age of nineteen when he wondered why he was the only single one in his group of friends. He only ever experienced sexual attraction but had never felt like getting in a relationship with someone, he felt comfortable by himself, alone, just him to worry about and look after. It was all for him. The fact that Hoseok has a crush on him never bothers him, he just always wonders if Hoseok will ever give up.

'How was work?' Hoseok asked the taller male looking up to him watching him smoke, trying to make conversation.

'Boring...and busy' Yoongi told him and looked back at him with a bland expression before breathing in a large amount of nicotine holding it in his lungs for a moment before blowing it out in a large cloud. 'I wish it wasn't so wet out' He huffed and looked down to his feet where the snow had turned into sludge wetting his leather black boots.
'Well....it is December, the weather isn't cold enough for snow just yet even if we have it' Hoseok chuckled gently before seeing their apartment in view so he walked ahead to unlock the door and headed inside to warm up the place. It was a good thing they were on the bottom floor, Yoongi would have been too impatient to wait for a lift or go up the stairs and insisted on the bottom floor apartments.
