I smile to myself and go to Maverick's room I guess he noticed I was a little happier than normal "what happened" he says putting his phone down I bite my lip and smile "Cash kissed me" I say he smiles and opens his arms I climb into them and lay there "Please tell me your not gonna date my brother" I look at him and smirk "Cant make any promises" he chuckles a little bit and I sit up " I should probably go home" maverick nods and I get up
*At home*
I walk in and my mom is on the couch with my step dad "I gotta go to work" she says getting up and leaving my step dad comes up to me and shove me on the wall "Please no" I cry he kicks my shin I wince in pain and tucker starts to bark and bite at him my step dad kicks him away I punch my step dad it the dick and grab tucker and bella I run and grab tucker's leash then out of the house and walk to the pet store I get harness and leash for bella and start to walk to cash's house
*At the Bakers*
I knock on the door and mav answers "Hey what's up" I had shorts on cause I was still in my pajamas he noticed my giant bruise that was forming "What the fuck Roxy" he says looking at my leg "It was my stepdad again can I please stay here with tucker and bella" he nods and lays me on the couch he grabs an ice pack and puts it on my forming bruise I wince in pain and bella jumps on my chest while tucker lays on cash's lap who is on the other couch
