Chapter Two

“It’s a lovely day Alison, are you sure you don’t want to go outside?” Annie asked me. I was currently sitting in my living room, looking through the window watching Mrs Scott plan flowers in her front garden. She was lovely lady who took pride in telling me stories about her 5 grandchildren and showing me pictures .She usually nips around a few times a week to see if I’m doing okay. She’s the only person who visits me. My brother and sister stopped about a year ago after a very unpleasant visit; I still remember the hurtful words that they said to me.

“How can you live with yourself when you know what you did to mother, after what you’re still doing to her” screamed Diana

“ You wouldn’t understand , you don’t know the whole story, please Diana let me explain before you judge me , you need to know what happened and then you will see that I’m not to blame , she’s the villain in all of this” I pleaded my sister

“Alison we have already heard what happened from mum, why would she lie to us?” asked Elliot

“Because she’s trying to take you away from me, like she’s done to everyone else, I can’t lose you like we lost Thomas, I refuse” I cried out to my siblings

“You lost us awhile back, we only continue to visit out of pity, look at you weeping on that chair acting all innocent like its wasn’t your fault, it’s embarrassing” sneered Elliot

“As far as I’m concerned I don’t have a sister, let’s go Elliot before we catch something, we wouldn’t want to turn out like her” laughed Diana

They both turned their backs and left the building without one glance back at me. I just lost the only people I have left over something I didn’t even do.

“I’m fine inside Annie, take the rest of the day off, I know you have been dying to see that new Adam Sandler film, Call up Kevin and go see it”.  “Are you sure? I don’t want you being all alone in this house, you hardly ever see or speak to anyone these days “asked Annie. “ I will be okay Annie go , if I get lonely I will call over Mrs Scott and ask to see her hundreds of photos of her grandchildren , I’m sure that will entertain me for a few hours” I laughed.“Okay then, if you’re sure then I will go if you need me at all call me on my mobile” said Annie still sounding unsure. “See you later” I smiled at Annie as she left. As I heard the door slam shut I turned back to look out the window just as a moving van move up outside number thirty four,  looks like someone had finally brought the Mckeans old house. The Mckeans old house was a three story manor house that stood at the far end of Greenhall lane. The house its self was a beauty to look at from the outside, with its lush green gardens and big oak trees. It was my dream house. After the van had stopped a black Mercedes pulled up beside it and out stepped a tall handsome young man with jet black hair wearing an expensive looking suit and sunglasses. Why on earth was he wearing sunglasses in the middle of winter, he must have thought he was something special to be wearing them in January. My facial expression must have been one of shock and longing, as when Mr Sunglasses turned around and looked at me a huge smirked appeared on his face and he winked.

Then to humiliate myself even more, my face decide then to heated up and make me look like a tomato, causing him to start laughing like someone has just told him the world’s funniest joke.
