Chapter two - black coffee and spilled sugar

Mike Shinoda's point of view
I had to get my mind off of everything that happened today so I went to the diner which served coffee 24/7. Coffee was what I needed. I walked in and the bell that hung down from the frame of the door to the actual door rung as I walked through which caused the manager, my aunt, to look up.
" Why isn't it Mike Kenji Shinoda?" she asked as she rested her arms on the counter.
" Hi, Aunt Carol," I replied
" How's it going, Mike?" She asked as she took some other costumer's orders
"I need a Heart Attack on Rack!" she shouted back to the employees in the kitchen, that was diner lingo for biscuits and gravy. That was for an older man with a long, thick, greasy beard with a beanie. He must be a tourist. I then remembered her question
" Everything is fine, Aunt Carol." I smiled
" That's good now whatcha here for?"
" Just a black coffee and a couple of sugars," I replied
" Yuck! I can't understand how you and your mother like that black coffee." she shuttered
She shouted back to the kitchen "Draw one in the Dark and make it snappy!"
She cleaned the bar and helped her costumers.
I then was served my Black coffee and opened my sugars then I heard something outside. It sounded like a car wreck I looked behind me through the window and see none other than Chester's car.
"OH MY GOD, THAT'S CHESTER!" I cried as I jumped up spilling my sugar all over the counter.
I ran out of the door and ran around to the driver's seat, seeing Chester. I pulled him out he was bruised and had glass all in his face and was bleeding
" Talinda..." He whispered
I went to the passenger side and pulled her out. She had glass in her face and the blood was like cloth around her. She was completely still I checked for her pulse... Nothing. The police soon came and confirmed she had passed then they took Chester to a hospital. I hoped he would be alright.
My black coffee was now cold and my sugar was spilled...
