Never say no to Jeon Jungkook.
Chapter 1, an introduction

“Cupid’s rule. You have to follow it, Jungkook, or Ms. Aphrodite, your mother, will punish you.” The cupid instructor, Namjoon—or Mr. Kim—told Jungkook after he refused to use his powers; “Must you be so ambitious? I’m trying to help you, Jeon.” He said lowly, dropping a packet on his desk.

“It’s because I’m weak, Isn’t it? Because I’m not as strong as the other cupids, right?” Jungkook whispered, his head facing the clouded-floor, “I can show you. I really can, please, just give me a mission! I’m 16, I should be able to do one by now.. I’m the age consent, so what’s wrong with me doing one?” Jungkook asked, lifting his head up, staring at Mr. Kim hopefully.

“It’s not because of your disability. It’s way more complicated, to be honest. I’ll just tell you what your mother told me, so listen, okay? She stated, ‘Jeon Jungkook, My son, a cupid of your class: He’s talented, I must say. But he’s not ready, he shalln’t accompany any missions now, in the prophecy; what the oracle told me; it’s dangerous. He’ll die, it said. You mustn’t let him go out there, to earth, to challenge a mission in any time period.  Understand, Kim Namjoon?’, You won’t take on a mission, okay? I can’t do that to her.” Mr. Kim said, and Jungkook lowered his head, staring at the ground intently.

“O-Okay.” He breathed out, disappearing out of sight from the classroom; Never say no to Jeon Jungkook. He whispered in his head while running down the hallway, holding Mr. Kim’s “Ticket to earth”, or well, his ticket to earth now.

A/n:
Hi, this is a pretty boring and small chapter, but it gets things moving + it explains Jungkook’s setting for the next chapter. Basically background information about Jungkook and his personality. As you can guess, I’m not especially going for the devilish type, I’m going for mischievous, yet with good intentions. His personality may change, can’t guarantee that yet though.

Incase anybody needs it, I’m going to put definitions for some of the hard words I used for 1: the people who aren’t fully fluent in English, or 2: People that don’t know the word(s) in general.

Ambitious; strong desire or determination; stubbornness

Prophecy; prediction for the future; used frequently in ancient greece
