"And cut! That's a wrap on Stranger Things season 3. Great job, everyone!" The director announces. Cheers erupt within the studio—some applauding, others hugging the person nearest to them.
You hug Millie Bobbie Brown, one of your closet friends on set. "Great job, Y/N." She beams at you.
"Thank you, you too!" You exclaim. You're a newcomer on season 3 of Stranger Things. Over the past few months, you have become incredibly close with all of the cast of Stranger Things, especially the younger ones near your age.
You hug your other co-stars until you come up to Finn Wolfhard. From the moment you saw Finn, you developed a very serious crush on him.
He smiles at you, and you decide to take the plunge and just hug him. You awkwardly hug each other. "Good-good job, Finn." You say, quickly taking a step away from him.
He nervously smiles at you. "Thanks, Y/N. Y-you did a really good job too. You should be proud." He replies, fidgeting.
"I am, thanks. It was-it was..." You trail off, your mind going blank, "cool." You finish weakly. Embarrassment floods through your body. You briefly smile at Finn and then just quickly walk away.
Once you're clear of everyone, you lean a hand on a chair, clutching your stomach as if to calm the butterflies. "'It was cool'?" You groan, face-palming. "Why do I always act so uncool around him?" You mumble to yourself. You sigh heavily and rub your face.

You're in your trailer, gathering all of your things and shoving them into a suitcase. You hear a knock on your door and set a sweater down on the bed. You walk to the door and pull it open. Your eyes widen in surprise.
"Finn, what are you doing here?"
He smiles. "Y/N, I want to talk to you about something."
You still. "Yes?" You say slowly.
"Uh, could-could we walk outside?" He questions. That's when you notice how nervous and jittery he seems.
"Oh, sure." You shut the door behind you and then walk beside Finn. He's really quiet.
"Is everything okay?" You ask worriedly.
"Yeah, yeah, everything is fine. I just-I just need to get something off my chest." He admits.
You stare at him nervously, a bunch of thoughts running wild through your brain. What if he tells you to back off? What if he tells you that he knows you have a crush on him and never wants to see you again? Before you realize it, you're breathing hard, your heart tripping over its own beats.
It's Finn's turn to look concerned. "Are you okay?" His eyebrows furrow.
"What? Oh. Yeah. Yeah, I'm good." You stammer, mentally telling yourself to chill out.
"Let's walk over here." Finn says, gently taking your arm—which sends electric waves through your whole body—and leading you towards a small cluster of trees and wildflowers. He sits down on a bench and you claim the seat next to him. He grabs both of your hands in his and stares at you with his big brown eyes.
"Y/N, I can't take it anymore. I have to tell you something. I have a crush on you. I've had a crush on you for a while now." Finn states bluntly.
Your jaw drops and your eyes go wide. You're not even sure you heard him correctly. "Wait, wait, wait, what?" You sputter.
Finn looks at you. "I-I like you. I mean I like, like, like you."
"Whoa." You breathe, staring at him in shock. He looks at you expectantly, waiting for you to say something. To say anything.
When a long minute goes by, he goes, "Y/N?"
It snaps you out of your daze. "I'm sorry, what?" You say. "Right, right, right, you told me you liked me." You breathe.
"And you? D-do you like me back?" He asks tentatively.
"Of course I like you back! I thought that was obvious." You laugh.
"Oh, you do?" Finn sighs with relief. "I mean, I thought, I don't know. I wasn't sure."
"I've had a crush on you since the moment I laid eyes on you. That's why I act like such an idiot in front of you. I swear I'm not that stupid, Finn."
"He smiles. "I know you're not." He answers. You laugh softly.
Finn suddenly hugs you and you sigh happily, wrapping your arms around him. "This is for that botched up, awkward hug we did earlier." He murmurs into your hair.
"That was so awful." You laugh.
He pulls his head back to look at you. "Then I guess it's a good thing we have a long time to make up for it." He smiles at you. You flush and smile back up at him. He kisses your head, which makes your stomach drop, and then buries his head in your hair. You hug him tighter, your eyes closed, not even believing that this is your reality.
[THE END] I hope you liked it!
