I went over to sit beside Heejin. I loved the library. It was like a whole new world in there While the others were going off track about how cute Choerry's dog was, I excused myself and went straight to the picture books section. Sure, picture books are for toddlers, but I get my inspiration from them. I was just about to bring those books back to my seat, "Crash!" I had bumped into someone and dropped all my books on the floor. It was so embarrassing! Luckily, it was a small crash and no one else had noticed. "Here, let me help you." That girl said. She had a really crunchy voice. It was kinda satisfying, if I do say so myself. I looked up to her. I think I was going to call 911 because her beauty had blinded me. Hey, you dropped something. My jaw.
"Thank... You.." I said, embarrassed. "Are you okay?" I ask. As I look up again I see another girl go to her.
"Hi, yes, I'm okay. What's your name by the way? Mine's Gowon." What a beauty my eyes. "Hi, I'm Chuu." The girl's friend said.
"Oh, hi. I'm sorry for what happened. I'm Hyejoo." They smiled at me, and I waved as I hurriedly left. I wonder if I would meet that girl again.
"Hey, Hyejoo. Why are you suddenly so smiley?" Yves asked with a laugh.
"Uhm, nothing... Nothing hahaha" I say. I feel my face turning red. They look at each other with knowing looks. "Well okay. So the plan is to get to the exhibition by 9.15am, hang up our artworks, and maybe help the other teams. There will also be 2 dance performances during the judging period." Choerry says. We all nod. It was going to be the best!!!! At 2.00 we were "dismissed" by Choerry. "Next meeting is next week!!" She reminded us. I skiped along the gravel path. Was that what Gowon ate to make her voice crunchy? The whole day I couldn't stop thinking about her. Was I developing a crush on her? But how could you like someone you just met? Still, I texted Yves for advice. She texted me first.
