Saleem Beebeejaun Honorary Consul of Malaysia

Saleem Beebeejaun has served as the Honorary Consul of Malaysia to Mauritius since 2008. He has been very active and has helped organize many missions and visits of Malaysian dignitaries to Mauritius. In that capacity he met and greeted Tun Mahathir in Mauritius in 2012 on his way to and from the funeral of Nelson Mandela.

Saleem Beebeejaun Trade Associations and Professional Bodies

Saleem is an active member the Young Presidents Organization where he served as Chapter Chair and Education Chair. He currently a primary member of the Europe One Chapter and a secondary member of the London Gold.

He was also a dynamic member of the Rotary Club of Port Louis and is a still a friend of Rotary. Saleem was also the President of the Insurers Association and was a member of the Joint Economic Council

Saleem is a Founder Member of the Insurance Institute of Mauritius, affiliated to the Chartered Insurance Institute UK. And he served as its President from 2003 to 2005.

In 2017 the Global Leadership Excellence Award was presented to Saleem Beebeejaun by the World Leadership Congress
