Chris asked me out.
The excitement had run out and all that was left was nerves.
I didn't know what to wear ,how to do my hair , if I should wear make up or no make up
Heels or no heels
Casual or a litltle dressed up.

I hadn't been on a date in such a long time , so I didn't even know what to expect.

Does this mean Chris likes me

Woah - do I like Chris ?
My head was spinning with all these questions and anxiety.
I needed to get ready.
I needed to look really good tonight.
I went through my closet searching for the perfect thing to wear. I needed something that look effortless but still put together.
Because it was in the evening and there was a bit of a chill I choose a thin white turtle neck with a red leather skirt that stopped just mid thigh. I wore some stocking underneath and threw on some ankle boots. I looked good !
But hopefully not to dressed up.
I brushed my hair into a low ponytail and decided to not wear any make up tonight.
It wasn't long before I heard a knock at my front door.
The anxiety was back.
I smoothed the invisible wrinkled in my skirt before going to open the door.
Chris looked breathe taking.
He wore a white button down shirt with light brown chinos. He's face was cleanly shaved and his hair sleeked back in its usually style. No hair out of place.
We stood there staring at each other. Not saying a word but just drinking each other in.
"You look amazing." He said "I brought you some flowers" he handed me red roses. About a dozen and my heart felt like it was about explode.
"Thank you ! No one has ever gotten me roses." I said "let me put them in a vase before we go , come on in" he stepped into my tiny apartment.

It may be tiny but I had it decorated like all the LA apartments the YouTube's flaunt. White everything with pink and gold accent pieces. I loved this place.
"This is exactly how I pictured your place." He chuckled "put together and so neat." He looked around seemingly impressed before he's eyes landed back on me when I approached him.
"All done." I said giving him a smile "Let's go"

After a short drive filled with comfortable silence. We had arrived at a tiny "hole in the wall" looking Italian restaurant. Chris helped me out the car before leading me into the restaurant. The hostess sat us down in a nice quiet booth in the corner of the restaurant. Leaving us with the menus.
"It doesn't look like much but I promise you the food here is amazing. You'll feel like you're in Italy." He said looking through the menu.
"I'm gonna trust you." I said looking at his face. Shamelessly checking him before looking through the menu myself.

A waiter eventually come to take our orders.
"I'll have the Macaroni and cheese please" I said.
"I have the Pesto pasta and can we get a bottle of red wine" he said
I found it very amusing that he seemed so cold to the world but somehow he's walls came down with me. He often smiled and spoke softly to me. It was shocking considering he barely knew me.
"You are a funny creature" I said as the waiter walk away.
"How so?" He asked raising his eyebrow
" You're so cold to the rest of the world but so open with me. A girl you barely know" I said
He gave a soft chuckle
"Well I don't like most people" he said
"You wanna know a secret?"He asked leaning in. I nodded my head eagerly.
"When you burst into my car that day - I had instant goosebumps. I've never experienced that. If I believed in soul mates. I would say you're my soul mate just based off of that." He said staring deeply into my eyes. My heart stopped.
"You barely know me." I whispered
"I know and I can't wait to get to know you." He said reaching over the table and grabbing my hand.

We spent the rest of dinner talking about everything and anything. I found out that Chris is the eldest of 4 boys. He's parents were both lawyers and he hated Cats. He is 24. Took two gap years after high school to backpack through Europe and he was nothing like what the rumors stated. He's silence and neutralism was taken for as him being a bad boy but really he was just a normal guy who at times seemed like a softy. I felt really special knowing more about him than most people did.
I was honoured that the Chris Pitt opened up to little ol' Tonya Grey.
