Nostalgic.
This is what I feel when I saw the gate of my Alma Mater. If it's not for completing my requirements for my new job, I will never go back to this place. It brought me thousands of memories.
I step my right foot and take it back again. I let a heavy sigh making myself calm.
"Come on, Eunice. You can do this." I said to myself.
Ciudad de Colegio is one of the best school students can have. So, it is for me, too, before everything happens.
I look up and scan the rusty name of my former school located on the arch just above the gate. My mind and my body are in contrast. My mind says I should go inside, but my heart says no. My heart is afraid, afraid of my mind because it keeps on reminding about my memories here – be it good or bad. But for a moment, I saw myself walking inside. It feels like there's a huge magnet and it slowly attracting me.
I walk through a path passing by the garden of flowers. A garden where my friends and I used to hang out.
I don't know if it's just me or there's really a horror here. I am now standing in front of our favorite spot. This is not part of my plan.
I look around me scanning the whole area. The flowers are properly arranged around the fountain. Not like when we are here. Kenly and Justin always messing up with it because they got irritated to the grumpy caretaker. I smile bitterly.
I walk towards it and arrange one of the pots that are not aligned. I, then, return to the table where our names were written. I ran my fingers to it, reading aloud some words that were written on it.
"Best friends forever."

"Best friends for...! Hoy, Justin! That's vandalism! Stop it!" Richlaine exclaimed and pulled out his hair.
"Aw! Richlaine, stop!"
Richlaine run immediately and stuck out her tongue.
"Lesbian!"
They all laughed. I sighed.
"Richlaine and Justin never grow old. Hey, you always tease each other. Is that how you show your love for each other?"
Olivia nodded her head, agreeing with me. "Anyways, guys, so it settled then? We will be having our taping slashouting in my hometown." She grinned, " Aren't you excited?"
"Yeaaaah!" Everyone shouted.
"Going back to this," Justin sat down again to where he was sitting. "I have to finish this."
He then pulled out the marker on his pocket to finish what he was writing.

Before my make up ruin because of my tears, I decided to stand up and finish my priority here. I wipe off my tears. I look once again in the whole area and decided that when I turn my back, I will leave all the memories here.
I started to walk. I take a look on the facilities. Some are new. Some are the old buildings. I also notice that people are approaching. I look at my wrist watch.
"It's lunch time already."
I continue to walk until I reach the office where school records are kept. I knock on the door. I wait for few minutes before I decided to knock again. When I am about to knock, a student approaches me.
"Excuse me, Ma'am. They're having lunch this time. I suggest that you go back later."
"Ahh. Alright." I nod, "Thank you, Miss."
