The late morning sun filtered through the leaves
Making dancing patterns
On the wall by my bed,
I stared unmoving-
As I was lonely and down
Desperately looking for
A shoulder to lean on
You came to take me gently
To lighten my heart and tighten your hold on me
I was enticing the distant stars-
Feeling cold and blue
You came down to me
Like the sun uninvited-
To brighten my intricate days and
Warm my soul with your love
Even the faintest of smiles
On your lips dues
Any trace of tears in my eyes
And your intrigued glance speaks
Boundless volumes of immortal love
That can only be ours
I hear the reverberating chord
In my heart pulsing my love for you non stop
I yearn for your nearness forever
And my soul soars up to you
Stay on with me my love-
And render the enormity of time
And space insignificant
With your eternal sunshine...
