The Game
Anais POV
"So, I'm technically a Sweet. I just don't hang out much." Jeremy explained. "I'm a popular kid, but we're supposed to be sorted into Sweets and Sours. And I was too nice for a Sour. And my best friend is Michael."
"Yeah!" Michael cheered. Jeremy laid his head on Michael's shoulder. Adorably gay. Jeremy looked as if he realized something.
"I'm gonna have a huge party at my house tonight!" He exclaimed. "No Sours allowed in to ruin it."
"Yes! I'll bring my Xbox!" Michael smiled, obviously ready to show off his skills. The most popular video game in our school is Revolution. You play as a soldier from the 1700's during the revolutionary war.
"Aren't you at Lieutenant rank?" Jeremy asked. Michael shook his head cockily.
"One more task and I'll be a general." He smirked.
"Whatever. Save my a spot as player two." Jeremy rolled his eyes.
"I'll play it when I get home before the party. I've never played it." Michael gasped.
"Nope! It has to download and I'm not letting you wait!" He smiled determinedly. "You can come to my house after school!"
"Uh, okay." I agreed. I can just feel the gayness emitting from him.
After School
Michael grabbed my hand and tugged at it so I'd follow him.
"You're gonna love this game!" He decided as he pulled me into the hall. Jeremy was calmly following.
"I promise you," Jeremy added. "Where's the third controller?"
"Here!" Michael yelled as he grabbed a navy blue controller. He showed me his console and put in the game.
"Oh, connard! Ef you!" I shouted at the TV. I started figuring out the controls better.
By now, I'd sorta...beaten Jeremy's score. Michael stared at me in disbelief once I climbed to second place. "Are you sure you haven't played before?"
"I haven't." I shrugged. "Back in France I played this game called Douleur et dévastation. I was the top player."
"Well you're really good!" Michael laughed. Jeremy leaned on Michael's shoulder. They are so gay for each other I swear.
"Well, shit." I muttered when I glanced at my phone. "I really gotta go get ready."
Not long after
Once I finally finished getting dressed I heard a notification on my phone. Probably my InstaSnap account.
SophArt: Hi
BaguetteBitch-Seen
Yeah, I know it's mean to leave someone on read but whatever. Why exactly do I care? It's just some random kid. If they're an adult, then that's creepy, seeing as I put that I'm 15 in my bio.
SophArt: Uh...did I bother you? I'm sorry I didn't mean to bother you.
SophArt: I'm sorry.
BaguetteBitch: Nah it's chill just getin ready for a party.
SophArt: Oh uh...Can we talk for a bit? I have to leave soon.
BaguetteBitch: Mhm
SophArt: What's ur favorite color?
BaguetteBitch: *Colour
BaguetteBitch: And also, purple.
BaguetteBitch: You?
SophArt: Uhm, blue.
It was all the generic questions. Favorite colour, season, month, holiday, etc.
Whoever SophArt is, she's pretty chill.
