I listen to my friend Justin Bieber on the phone, and smile as I remember the days I were in elementary. I lived in Ontario, Canada with my family and one day I saw a cute little boy  in my class, he was short with blond hair swept over his face and had a cheeky grin. I was set a year back and despite being comfortable in my old school transferred as we moved street, my parents were both French-Canadians and had a son, my brother called Jayden. I looked very different to them as I had dark brown eyes and curly black hair, and this was unusual. I glare back at the boy and he smiles, his hazel eyes glistening, "Amy, Justin focus!" My teacher instructs.

 I remember the time when we were chasing eachother across the snowy school field and he was trying to kiss me, he succeeded and gave me a gentle peck onto my lips. I have no idea how I remember considering I was only seven-years old but it's still there. I decide to give him a call as I had his number and when it picks up I hear a deep voice on the opposite end of the line.

\\ "Hi Amy! How's it in New York?" He warmly speaks into the phone. 

"Yeah it's cool, how's Canada?" I ask.

 "I'm actually in LA but it's great, my wife just bought a new dog." He laughs. 

I giggle and reply "So Hailey's keeping you up then." 

"Yeah yeah." Justin mutters. 

"I'm single so you know..." I respond.

"Yeah you've just got your brother, but trust me he's alright." He continues "You'll find a boyfriend." 

"Yeah anyway I gotta go mom's calling me." 

"Ok bye." He hangs up the phone and I head down to where my mom is \\

She is escorting Jayden to the car as my dad is at work and my brother wants to go to McDonalds, I jump into the back of the car and there's Side To Side by Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj playing in the background, I jam out to the song with my dark-light brown ombre hair bouncing. I have it tied up in a ponytail just like Ariana and am dressed in some cute outfit mostly from the vintage store. I get comfy in the back with my blanket when my mom says "Amy you're 25 years old and you still have your blankie, like you should give it to Jayden for example." 

"I don't want that stupid blanket but I think i'll have to tell the truth." He says in his cute tiny voice.

I glare at my brother and he bursts out with "Amy's such a child!" 

I look back at him, he has medium brown hair and his eyes are small and blue. His complexion is pale and looks like snowflakes. 

"Uh no but maybe we could just be young forever, you know it's great!" I exclaim.

"AMY!!! that's not something you should be telling your brother." I sigh as my mom tells me off. 

We pull into the McDonalds drive through and we order a happy meal and bottle of orange juice for Jayden. My mom adds to the order a Big Mac with extra fries and asks me what I want. "Umm can I have the vegan salad." 

"Sure that is 7 dollars 50." The woman behind the screen replies. 

We drive off after receiving our food and having paid for it. I dig into my vegan salad and smile as I crunch into the leaves and pick up a piece of tofu. I am living my best life as I turned vegan around 5 months ago and I'm totally loving it!
