She sighed, so Blake did like her. She called Cleo to tell her she wasn't made at her.

"So you have a date?"

"Yep."

"I'm gonna come over and we're gonna doll you up."

"Ew no don't do that. Can't I just dress normal?"

"Nope. You're going on a date with Blake Pierce."

"Don't say his name like that, it's weird and intimidating."

"Whatever, I'm coming over with Hannah."

"Fine."

She jumped into the shower in a hurry but soon realized that it would be a couple of hours before Blake came she could take her time.

"VIOLET!" her mom yelled, "Cleo and Hannah are here."

She sighed, of course they were here already. She hurried up and dressed then went to meet them. As soon as she stepped downstairs her mom was all up in her face.

"What's this about you going on a date?" she asked.

"Um, I just found out too." she answered.

"Ok, next time tell us ok?" her mom  said.

"Ok..."

"Now, go doll her up girls."

Of course her mom would side with them, she thought to herself as she got dragged to her room. A couple of hours later they were dont and finally let her look in the mirror.

"Whoa, I look good." Violet gasped. She was dressed in a white flowery crop top and jeans. her face was coated in make up which she usually detested but she actually liked it right now.

"Wow goys, thanks." she said.

"No prob, it's our job as your bffs anyway." Hannah said shrugging it ff.

Soon the doorbell rang.

"Well that must be him." Violet said walking to the dor.

"Oh no, you stay. We'll go first, we have to make him want to see you." Cloe said pushing her into her room.

She rolled her eyes but sat down on her bed scrolling through Instagram her feed was all about her kiss with Blake at the party. Then she saw a picture where her face was erased and replaced with Emily's - Queen Bee in the school captioned 'Some people just don't appreciate good things'. She rolled her eyes, some people could be so immature sometimes.

Someone knocked her door and Cleo told her she could come out. She walked out to see Blake in a shirt that hugged his muscular frame as his eyes scanned her body shamelessly.

"Hey, ready to go?" he asked.

"Yeah."

As they walked out the door, someone cleared their throat.

"Son can we have a chat?" Violet's dad interrupted coming out of nowhere.
