RED, GREEN AND
B OY F R IE N D S."Ah! Master Seungmin!" A small house elf suddenly shouted in fright as soon as the front door of the Kim household opened, shielding their eyes as if Seungmins very existence was blinding. "You should be at Hogwarts! What's master doing here?!"
Hyunjin giggled softly (when will he stop DOING THAT) behind Seungmin, who was developing an embarrassing flush at his elfs behaviour. One would assume Seungmin was a horrible owner at such a reaction, eventhough they boy could strictly remember painting the elfs nails and eating smuggled chocolates together.
"Mochi," Seungmin said through gritted teeth, ignoring Hyunjins exclamation of 'mochi?!', eyes trying to convey the severity of the situation, "Sixth and Seventh years have been given a three day weekend to prepare for the ball, in which I decided to bring my date to my home for the day."
The elfs expression went from alarm, to confusion, back to alarm. Frantically, mochi glanced back at Hyunjin- who waved weakly- and back at his master.
"You have a date?!" The elf asked incredulously, the sudden statement appearing to be so shocking that the elf stumbled back a few steps, grabbing their chest. "I must inform your parents! The masters will be so surprised!"
Seungmin eyes widened instantly, while Hyunjin broke into a loud and joyous laughter, "No wait Mochi don't tell mother-"
But before Seungmin could finish his request, the elf vanished before their eyes, leaving the front door open wide infront of them.
Stepping into the front entrance Seungmin began to mutter under his breath, "Blasted elf." He turned back to Hyunjin, who was waiting patiently to be let in, a shit eating grin on his face, "Do come in, there's not much more that will surprise you-"
"SEUNGMINNIE! I HEAR YOU'VE BROUGHT YOUR BOYFRIEND!" The familiar voice of Seungmins father echoed through the house, footsteps sounding like they were running towards them.
Instantly, wanting to avoid anymore embarrassing situations, Seungmin slammed the door shut behind them and yanked Hyunjin up the stairs by his sweater, heading straight for his room. Hoping his parents would leave them alone, he shut the door. Panting, they both leaned against the bedroom door, listening to the hysterical laughter of Seungmins mother and father fill the bright house.
Seungmin should've known this was bound to happen, while he loved his parents open mindedness and acceptance- he did not need them to meet or talk to Hyunjin. Not knowing whether to fear his parents childhood stories of him or his mother (god forbid) giving them the talk.
When the headmaster had announced that sixth and seventh years would be allowed to have the Friday off with their weekend, many took the chance to go back home or shopping for the ball. And Seungmin and Hyunjin had discussed going shopping for robes (green robes, of course) the following Saturday.
Until Seungmin, possessed by who knows what demon, suggested Hyunjin come home with him for the Friday.
Hyunjins mother, not knowing her son would be able to visit, was taking a 6 hour yoga class followed by a sleepover with her book club and absolutely made it clear she could not cancel unless it meant certain death.
This left the lion heart alone in hogwarts until Saturday, and Seungmin, being the absolute angel suggested a quick visit to his house. Not to mention that Seungmin lived near the city; meaning they could go out into the city later in the day if they wished.
