"Fuck.." Gavin had awoken after a day of rest, when he sat up as he looked around at his surroundings, seeing that he was in a moist, and dirty cave. Still examining his surroundings he looked upwards towards what used to be the sky, when he did so he saw a gaping hole and he saw what seemed to be the sun. Gavin let out a sigh and gripped the yellow flowers that he had sat atop of, getting up he started to hobble towards a tunnel of rock.

Limping he gripped onto the wet rock, moving towards two stone pillars on the each side of the stone. He went through the arch and found himself in a new section of the cave. In the middle of the ground there was a little patch of grass and in that patch a little yellow flower, he walked up to the flower and stared at it, wondering how a patch of grass had grown in such a dark area he tried to pick up the flower. "Hey!" The flower yelled, this made Gavin jump back, his heart pumping he fell to the floor crawling on his back towards the cave wall. "What do you think your doing!?" The flower looked at him, sizing him up, it took the flower seconds to realize what he was. "You're a human, are you not?"

Gavin, still in shock, and looking at the flower with pure fear screamed "You're fucking talking!", after which, the flower replied; "Calm your shit. I'm one of the friendliest monsters in the underground! My names Flowey, Flowey the flower!" Gavin, still full of adrenaline, scrambled up and started running, only to hit his head against the wet stone wall. He fell to the floor, "How the fuck are you talking?!" Flowey moved towards the frightened boy, "Oh, i'm sorry. You havent seen a monster have you? Well golly, you must be so confused." Flowey gave a warm smile towards Gavin. Gavin, starting to trust Flowey, stood up, his legs still shaking he grabbed a stick from off the ground. "Well, let me show you how things work around here!" Gavin looked around, only to see a glowing white pellet. "These are called friendliness pellets!" Gavin, finally mustering up the courage to talk normally, stated; "A-And what do I do with this friendliness pellet?" He asked, curious at the snowflake looking bead, and frightened. "Well you touch it!"

Gavin walked slowly towards the pellet, tapping it with his finger, only to feel a sharp pain in his finger like a knife cutting through your skin. "Fuck!" Gavin screamed, he jumped back once more, only to hit another pellet on his back, screaming again he looked around him, only seeing a line of white pellets around him, circling in. "You idiot." The flower stated with a different tone of voice as before. Gavin looked at the flower and his jaw dropped to say something but he turned pale as he say the expression on Flowey's face, the flower was shaking and trembling and the look on his face as if he was going  to kill the poor defenseless child. "In this world, its kill or be killed. Why would anyone pass up an opportunity like this?!" Gavin looked in horror and in shock at the flower. "Die." The pellets began hitting Gavin, slicing open his leg, blood gushed, he fell to the ground, screaming for help. Another one hit his cheek, a slicing it open blood went down his face, falling to the stone floor with a little tap. Pellets continued to hit Gavin until he saw a shadowy figure in the cave, running the figure shot a fireball at the flower, the flower then ran away dissatisfied at its kill. "What a terrible creature, torturing such a pure innocent youth."

Gavin tried to run towards the two stone pillars he entered from, only to fall from the gash in his leg. He had hit his head on the stone from the fall, everything went black as he faded into darkness.

Gavin had awoken in a soft, comfortable bed, he looked up at the ceiling "Thank fuck it was all a dream.." Gavin got up, trying to stand and he stumbled, he looked at his leg, seeing bandages. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!" Gavin looked in the mirror, seeing bandages on his cheek and on various other gashes on his body. He screamed, this alarmed the figure from the cave, the creature running into the room. "What is wrong my child?" Gavin got a better look at the figure, he stared at the goat like creature, it had big floppy ears and snow white fur. Atop its head were gray horns, it was wearing purple robes with a strange design on the front, it was considerably bigger than any human he had ever seen, being almost 8 feet tall. Gavin screamed, "I am NOT your child!" He tried to run but only to fall once more.

"Do not fear, I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins." The creature had a very soft and soothing voice, making Gavin slightly more relaxed. "Last time I trusted a monster it almost fucking killed me! I am not trusting you!" Gavin stated frantically. "That creature was a horrible creature, if i was going to kill you I would have done it already. I would never hurt such a caring human such as you." Gavin thought about this for a moment, he sighed and stood up, gripping onto a nearby dresser. "I trust you right now, but if you try something I will kill you." Toriel didn't look even slightly frightened by this "Okay my child." "Don't fucking call me that!"
