Vacation (Chanlix au)

Doctor Lee

Felix smiled at his patient who left the room thanking him. He sighed as he made his way out the room. Even though he was a doctor, he really couldn't stand all the white.
"My shift is over, I'm going home!!" He yelled out to his co workers who waved him off as he walked past them.

"Good work today Lee! You saved us from that patient. He's really hardheaded. Only you can deal with him!" His coworker laughed as the rest of the nurses and doctors agreed.

"I don't know how I managed either. I'm sure I lost a few strands of hair thanks to him!" Felix joked as he signed off from his shift on the computer.

"You're off work for a week or two aren't you?" Another coworker joined the conversation.

"Yes. I decided to take a vacation back home." Felix smiled happily remembering his trip to Australia.

"Oh man! We will miss you. It's going to be hell without our best doctor!" The same coworker said as he patted Felix on the back.

Felix chuckled as he shook his head at the statement. "You are all amazing doctors! You'll be just fine without me." With that being said, Felix said his finally goodbyes and started heading out the exit doors.

"Yo Lix wait up!" Felix heard his friend, Eric, yell before he got to the exit door.
"Yea what's up?" Felix said looking at the the younger boy panting from running up to him.

"W-well..." Eric stuttered as he scratched the back of his head. "About what I told you.." He continued looking around to see if anyone was around to hear them. When he saw that they were alone he proceeded, "Please don't tell anyone or say anything about it. I don't want our friendship to be ruined." Felix smiled as he tightly hugged Eric, calming down his wordiness.
"Don't worry dummy. You'll always be my best friend. And you can't tell what I told you either." Eric smiled warmly as he embraced the older, nodding his head in agreement.

Eric told Felix something he shouldn't have or would get killed for it if his members found out. That being, he is in a gang. They go by 'The Boyz'. Felix couldn't care less really, not that he was surprised by it either. Eric had somewhat of a loose mouth when it came to Felix and would often say things that made Felix put one and two together to figure out that Eric was apart of the Mafia. Not only that but Eric convinced Felix to learn to use a gun to which Felix got suspicious of how good Eric was at dealing with guns. Though thanks to that, Felix aim improved aswell as how quick he could break down and put a gun back together. He was actually more surprised how Eric was a doctor and apart of a gang. As Eric confessed, he said he's been wanting to get the feeling out and he trusted Felix with the information. Felix wasn't too unfamiliar with gangs either since he knew Monsta X.

"Alright I'm out! Good night and be careful." Felix smiled walking away once they finished their little chat. He groaned as he walked down the street feeling the stress of the night hitting him like a brick. Since he had to do some extra work with a patient he missed his bus ride. He stood for a moment. Should he wait for 40 minutes for the bus or take the short cut and get home home in 40 minutes..
He was hungry.......

Once he finally made up his mind and decided to just walk home. He was about to cross the street but  was stopped in his tracks by a beeping car as they sped off. He looked up and saw that the walking signal was still red. I'm so tired I almost got myself killed. He shook his head as he slapped his own cheek a few times.

Felix didn't find it necessary to own a car since he wasn't the type to go out. He instead used that money to save up and invest. He wanted to retire at a young age after all. So for the past few years of being a doctor, he's been saving up all the money he got paid except the money he used for food and rent.
