Lola and Noah were walking aimlessly in one of the golf courses, they-at least she, was trying to get as far away from the resort's main building as possible. They were walking in silence, not the awkward kind, the calming type. The type that just proves they're there, breathing, together.
"Can you teach me how to play golf?" she asked nonchalantly gazing up at him, trying to gauge his reaction.
"Really?" he asked with wide eyes, obviously surprised.
"Nope." she replied, stressing on the 'p' with a huge grin on her anaemic face. "But we can hang out till we get sick of each other. Yeah. In fact, lets just do that."
She pulls him from the collar of his polo t-shirt, with a small smirk on her pale face, pecking his lips lightly. After she pulls away, it takes him a few seconds to comprehend what had just happened. She was initiating human-to-human contact, she was slowly opening up to him and he couldn't be more rhapsodic.
He thought their lips fit perfectly, that she was perfect. Perfect for him, as he was for her. He was slowly getting attached to the enigma that goes by Lola, he couldn't get enough of her and he knew why. He has grown very fond of her over the past few weeks. Maybe a little too much even.
She thought he was hot, the geeky kind of hot. She put a barrier though, a barrier that won't allow her to grow definite feelings for the faultless male in front of her. She was on a journey to find herself, the last thing she needed to do right now was committing - especially not to a trivial summer fling. Right?
