Ding! "Ah" I almost shouted but instead whispered. I looked at my phone, which was now illuminating the door and wall that was on my left. I slowly slid the screen to the right drawing up my calling screen.
"Jason. I need help, I don't know what to do!"
"hold on what happened."
"I don't know, one moment I was with Taylor and the next she had left me for Jeff."
"Oh dude, I'm so sorry, where are you, I will come get you and we can go do something."
"Thanks man but I don't want to be caught with you, no offense, but your kind of a loser."
This infuriated me, here I am at six in the morning trying to help my "friend" and he was sitting there saying that I was a loser. I ended the call and threw my phone across the room, where it landed safely on a mound of clothes.
"Calm yourself Jason, its okay, keep it on the inside. Don't take it out on others." I thought out loud. I brought my heart rate down and sat there staring at the wall.
"He's right you know, you are a loser Jason, everyone knows it, even you." The devil had slid convincing lies into my head for the past three years and now I felt like all of them were true, even though some weren't that convincing. God was never there for me, I had prayed for help for years as my mom started to get abused, as I was getting shoved into lockers and my face getting beat in, I had prayed but God never helped, he was too "busy" with others to help me. I had one talent though it was more of a curse because every minute, I can see the demons surrounding me and surrounding others, but there are never angels there to fight off the demons.
