"That's a cool dragon you got there!"

Natsu stared at the boy infront of him, cooing down at his pet dragon, Igneel. Igneel was cute and extremely cute as he tried to attack the weird boy with his magical fire powers, and Natsu smiled. 'Good boy Igneel. We attack strangers.' He thought happily, watching the boy run away as fast as he could.

"Natsu, he did it again!" His eXcEed, Happy exclaimed, sighing. Natsu coughed a few times before nodding.

"Yes, you should stop doing that Igneel," he disciplined, at the same time as he gave the dragon a rewarding pat on the head. Igneel shrugged it off. He was going to attack the next person he sees, anyway.

"Stop encouraging him, Natsu..." Happy deadpanned, shaking his head and flying ahead of him.

"I can't help it, isn't he so coooool?" He paused, thinking about his answer, "It's for self defence, anyway."

"Not everyone is going to attack you!"

Natsu shrugged and they continued walking down the path. They were on their way to Crocus, or whatever. What for? Natsu couldn't remember, but he was sure it was important.

"Hey Natsu? Theres this boy and his dragon ahead, maybe you shouldn't let Igneel attack them..."

"Another dragon?" Natsu's eyes widened, head darting about the place, "WhEre?"

"He's up ahea-" Happy stared blankly ahead of him, "oh I guess Igneel already got to them."

Somehow watching Igneel's tiny flames burn his victims brought joy to Natsu. He wasn't sadistic, he just loved Igneel.

In result, Natsu stood there, watching as Igneel burned the... kinda handsome guy. He was shouting, a lot, and maybe he should stop Igneel before the guy's own dragon would attack him.

"Igneel!" he shouted, running up to the handsome guy and his dragon. "Igneel, don't do that!" he pulled the dragon back who obeyed with a dragon pout.

"oH tHanK gOoDnEss." the guy sighed in relief, glancing over to his dragon who stared at the situation, carelessly. "You didn't even do anything, Weisslogia! And wheres Lector now?!"

"Oh no! I feel so bad!" Natsu forced out, pulling on an awkward smile, "I'm sorry my dragon attacked you."

"..." Happy gave him a look. "Don't listen to him, he's not sorry."

"haPpY-"

The handsome guy stared blankly at Natsu as they stood there, extremely awkwardly. "Well- I'm Sting-" he paused, "your dragon is somewhat cute..."

Natsu furrowed his eyebrows. Sting had just called the dragon that had attacked him, cute. 'Well I've heard weirder...'

The labelled handsome guy (by natsu), named Sting, then continued to ramble about his life. Natsu stared at him blankly, 'I could literally care less...'

"So what's your name?" Sting grinned at him, "You're cute!"

Natsu gaped at him, in slight disbelief. Handsome guy called him cute, and for wHAT? He had barely talked to the guy.

"I'm Natsu..."

"Natsu? Sting and Natsu, isn't that cute?" Natsu subconsciously nodded, "We both have dragons and kitties, wanna be friends?!"

Natsu choked. "Do you just- make friends with whoever has a cat and dragon?"

Sting stared at him. "I mean, no, but you're cute."

"I-" he gave him a perplexed expression, "You just met me. We barely talked..."

Sting shrugged, "Your dragon attacked me, and you liked that for some reason, isn't that enough of a reason to become friends?"

"Uh..." Natsu thought for a moment, "Okay, I'm in."
