He had caught the earliest train that was headed towards the Crystal Empire
On the trip there he had gotten a call from his wife Spitfire. "Hey you okay? " She said on the other line Wavechill had taken a deep breath, "Yeah I'm doing alright, just trying to grasp everything together" Wavechill finally said "Well We wish you the best, and Dashie misses you" Spitfire said
"Tell her I miss her too, and that I should be back in a few" "Alright, be safe" and just like that WaveChill was already at the Crystal Empire
"Identity please?" The Crystal guards said "Wavechill, Lieutenant of the Coast Guards" Wavechill said
"Access granted" The Crystal Guard stepped aside "Wavechill what a Surprise!" Princess Cadence gave WaveChill a warm hug "I figured out my Father works under your authority" Wavechill looked around "Oh he does? Whats your father's name?" Cadence said in surprise "He goes by the name Artemis?" "Oh I know of him!" Cadence gasped "as matter of fact, He is the best Crystal Empire has got, your father is really the greatest" She continued "...so you know where he is?" Wavechill asked
"Oh yes, at this time of hour he's usually hanging out in the garden"
"Thank you so much, Princess Cadence" Wavechill bowed
"Nonsense, you can drop the title and you are welcome" Cadence smiled
Wavechill quickly flew to the garden
Once he was at the Garden he looked around and sure the garden was quite lovely and such but it doesn't make anything less intense than it already was "Artemis I know you are in here" Wavechill called out
Artemis stepped out from the rose bushes "Ah, yes who may you be? " Artemis looked at WaveChill
"I believe I'm your son" Wavechill replied "So Princess Luna found you?" he said in shock "No, I found her" Wavechill said "So, I'm guessing you are gonna ask me 'Why did you stop looking for me' type of question huh? " He said "Well to put it in bluntly yes. " Wavechill looked for a sitting area
"well it's quite simple, I was much scared to actually find you and to see you living in another family apart from ours, and I was scared what you will say to me, but I guess I never thought you would come look for me" Artemis sighed "I was curious to know who my dad was so of course I would go look, just I can't believe I'm royalty" Wavechill sighed "Well Son, What can I do to make it up to you?"
"I, want you to meet my family" WaveChil answered
Artemis just nodded in surprise
"You may have heard of Spitfire" WaveChill said "Well of course she's the Captain of the Wonderbolts Elite flyers" Artemis said "Spitfire happens to be my wife, and the Mother of my Child" Wavechill proudly said
"Damn, you are lucky to have such a fine wife" Artemis said "I'm surprised you got to mess around with my mom, and just like that you left her" Wavechill said "The next train leaves in an hour" Wavechill continued
"I'm...Glad you aren't completely pissed at me" "Oh is that what you think? No I'm Just completely resentful of you" Then Wavechill flew off
