Chapter 5

Kathryn's POV

" Thanks for picking me up, Dean. " I told him as he was driving to an auto part store for my car.

" No problem. Was that your sister? " He asked.

" Yeah. I'm catching up with her and Charlie. So how are things with you? " I asked.

" It's fine. Sam's studying more about monsters at Bobby's. " Dean said. We continued to talk more and catch up as he got the right parts and back to Bella's school to fix my car.

~Back At The School~

Bella's POV

" So that's your sister. " Mike said watching as she and the guy named Dean left with her. " Does she have a boyfriend? "

" Eww! 1, she's nineteen and 2, I think she's seeing someone named Gabriel. Plus your probably not even her type. " I said. Just thinking about Mike with Kathryn is gross. I looked over Edward and saw his look of confusion. I decided to go over there ask if he was okay. " Hey, guys I'll be right back. I'm gonna go talk to Edward. " I told my friends and stood up. I walked over to Edwards table and sat between him and Jasper.

" You okay? You looked irritated. " I asked him. He shook his head.

" No, I can't read her mind. It's like your but different. It was like running into a brick wall. " he explained.

" Maybe it's blood. " I suggested.

" No. If it was then I wouldn't be able to read Charlie's mind. " he said.

" Maybe she has markings. There is a sigil that you can use to block your mind and body from unwanted visitors. " Jasper said. " I ran into someone with a type of sigil on a necklace when I was first turned. " Edward nodded.

" Does she wear any jewelry or tattoos? " Edward asked me. I shook my head.

" Not if you think it's a cross. She's wears a cross around her neck all the time. But tattoos? I'm not sure. "

" We'll have to find out. If she has something like that she could know about us. " Edward said.

" But she works for the FBI. " I said shaking my head in disbelief. My sister couldn't be what they were saying, could she? I went bac over to my table with my friends and finished my lunch before the bell rang.

~Kathryn's POV~

" Thanks for helping me Dean. " I told him as he slammed the hood down.

" No problem. That's what friends are for. " He said as his phone started ringing. He took it out and answered " Yeah? Alright I'll be there in a few hours. " He put his back in his pocket and said, " Hey, sorry about that. Sam called and needs my help in Wyoming. You want to tag along? "

" No, sorry. I promised my sister I would stay for a couple weeks and catch up. You go on without me. " I told him.

" Alright. I'll see ya. " He replied and hugged me. He then got in his car and left the parking lot. I decided to go back to dad's. I got in my car and left the parking lot with Shut up and dance by Walk the Moon blasting from the radio while I sang to it.

The drive went so fast I was almost sad that it was over. I got out of beloved jeep and went inside as I thought what I could make for dinner. I opened the refrigerator and was met with nothing but a few bottles of beer and some fruit. Bella probably haven't had the chance to go shopping yet. I picked up a notepad and a pen and quickly scribbled down a note for Bella and Charlie incase either came home early.

I then picked up my keys I left on the counter and left out the door and into my car. I started my car and left for the store.

Once I arrived at the store I grabbed a cart and walked to the produce and grabbed an assortment of fruits such as apples, oranges, bananas, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. I searched through the store everything else on my list. After an hour of shopping and making sure I had everything I went to check out.
