Kirishima POV

Today was Sunday, the day all UA student were to be moving into their new dorms. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I quickly got out of bed and did my usual wake up routine. I decided to dress comfy in jeans and a white t-shirt since all anyone would be doing was unpacking. My mom actually gave me a ride today, but I don't know if it was because I had all my bags with me or because she wanted to give me a lecture about living in a dorm. Either way, I was thankful for the lift.

All student were told to meet at a newly built building still on the school campus, about a 10 minute walk away from the school itself.

As my mom and I arrived at the parking lot, I could spot other classmates with their parents, saying goodbye and or getting lectures like myself. Students flowed into the area little by little. After about 30 minutes, Aizawa arrived and took roll and announced to the parents still here, that they could now go home.

Once that mess was taken care of, Aizawa lead all the students inside and gave a brief tour and some common guidelines.

I looked to my left to where Mina and Sero were standing, they were whispering and giggling about something while Denki was staring off into space. Wow. These are my friends. Deciding to pay attention to Aizawa because the others obviously weren't, I turn back to him just as he spoke up again, "Ok, you can unpack now, remember the rules or else." With those words, Aizawa left the building and then chaos ensued.

The girls of the class quickly gathered together and started talking in squeals and laughter. Some of the boys also started talking while some others grabbed their bags out of the mountain of them near the front of the common room. To avoid the crowd and confusion that was sure to come with everyone trying to grab their bags out of the pile, I quickly snatched mine and headed to the elevator, selecting the floor each student was announced on.

The building was nice but I doubt that it will stay that way, since 20 high school students would be living together in it. Although, if it gets bad enough, the teachers might make us all clean it, like chores or something.

I quickly reach the floor my room is on, and walk to the second door. I pull out the new, metal key in my pocket and unlock my door. The scent of lemon cleaning spray hits me like a truck. I step inside, leaving the door open a crack in case Denki or Sero come by wanting to hang or talk. I place my duffel bags next to the bed.

I got through about half my bag of clothes before I hear and bang on my door, followed by a rough voice, "Oi, come on Shitty Hair. I'm hungry."

I quickly get up and look down the hall, surely enough, there's Bakugou standing near the elevator, pressing the down button. He must be wanting to hang out so I grab my phone, wallet, and keys before running down the hall after him, he was still holding the elevator open for me by the time I got there.

Once in, I give him a toothy smile. He was wearing his usual black sweatpants and black skull shirt. He returns my smile while a eye roll and shoving his hands in his pockets.

The elevator opens at the ground floor where only a few class members are still wandering around. Bakugou and I slip out of the dorms and start to walk down the street. Luckily for us, we still had a few hours before curfew. "Soooo, where do you want to eat?"

"Burgers sounds good."

The walk back from the restaurant was quiet. We arrive back at the dorms around 9:30. This time many students were down in the common area. Mina immediately spots us entering

"Hey guys! We were going to play some games. Want to join?" She proposed while a few others turned to stare at the newcomers.

Before I could answer her, Bakugou spoke up, "Nah, sounds lame." He quickly turns away from me and the others and heads towards the elevator. I think about following him, but before my feet can move, I feel someone grab my arm. I turn my head to see Denki smiling at me, simultaneously tugging me toward the rest of the group. I quickly look back at the elevator, but to my disappointment, Bakugou is already gone, without even saying goodbye.

"Come on man, let's play," Sero commented from a bean bag chair next to the coffee table, holding up a video game controller. "It'll be fun."

I turn back at them and put on a smile, "Alright one game, but I'll totally beat you guys."

~

I finally make it back to my room a few hours later, I had stayed longer than anticipated. Only because Sero had made a bet that I couldn't win the next round of some fighting game I had never heard of, which led me to play about six more rounds.

I open my door and look out upon my room that was still only partially unpacked. I breathe out a quick sigh, rolling up my sleeves and putting on some music to get me into the mood. The majority of the night was spent unpacking since I had been sidetracked.

Time passed before I was unpacking the last things on my desk, some books I had brought from home. I place the books me and Bakugou had brought when at the festival on my bed side table, wanting to read some a little later. I start to turn around to examine the room when I catch a flash of pale yellow through my balcony curtains.

Looking back again, I see that it was Bakugou out on the next balcony over. He must be in the room next to me. I think about going out and talking to him but he seems deep in thought. Even from my angle and distance, I could see that his eyes were glazed over and his brows furrowed, but not in his usual irritated scowl. He was sitting down on the ground his legs hanging out from the edge and his arms slung loosely on the bars in front of him.

I lightly touch the glass of my balcony door, my hand flinching away from the cold glass. It was getting cold out and Bakugou was sitting out there with only a shirt and shorts. I strain to get a closer look at him again, this time seeing his breath coming out in puffs of cold air, his cheeks and nose rosey from the cold.

He was looking out to the view of the street. It reminds me of when he would look out at the city from the roof of the school.

A car horn goes off from the distance, it knocking both Bakugou and I out of our thoughts. I quickly back away from the curtain before Bakugou could turn and catch me watching him. I wait for a few seconds and when I look back again out of pure curiosity, all I see is the empty pavement of Bakugou's balcony. He must have went back into his room, but who knew how long he was out in the cold. I did decide to stay down stairs while he went up, and even when I got back to my room I still unpacked for a hour or so.

What could have Bakugou been thinking about out there? I look to the clock and see that it is almost midnight. I make a mental note to ask him about it later, or at least tell him to wear a jacket next time.
