The coincidence

Chapter 1

As I sung the last two words of the song I could see thousands of people standing up.

"Rei, we did it" Cassidy was crying and so was I, I could Barely see all four judges standing up for the 100th time,

I wipe my tears away with my sleeve and focus on the judges before I start to cry again.

"Another amazing performance you have gave to us again!" Louis says, he looks over at the people still stood up and screaming our names

"You guys are amazing, I can't even find words to describe how good you two are!" Nichole shouts over the audience,

"Girls, you have once again blown my mind. I tried but I couldn't find even one teeny mistake in your performance!" Gary says, the crowd become silent

"Thank you so, so much" Cassidy cries, everyone turns to Simon who is sat patiently for his turn,

"Well, I am amazed at how good you two are together! I mean iv never seen anyone like you two, you have potential and you are both unique and different in a good way, we'll done" he nods at us as me and Cassidy jump into each other's arms and cry.

"Will Rei and Cassidy win the X Factor? Or will Sam Bailey win the judges hearts? Stay right there we will be back in 5 minutes" Dermot announces.

When the cameras have stopped me and Cassidy Walk of the stage to freshen up for the announcement,

"Your gonna have to stop crying, your making my job impossible right now" steph the makeup artist laughs as I join her,

"Sorry" I smile apologetically

"It's okay" she says. She swipes powder across my cheek bones and stands back to analyse my face,

"Okay babe were all done" she smiles and leans in to hug me,

"Thanks so much" I reply, me and Steph have known each other since me and Cassidy auditioned. I asked if she could be my makeup artist because she was so kind and sweet,

"Good look out there, my vote is on you two" she hugs me one last time and walks out the dressing room. Cassidy walks in a few seconds Steph left.

"EEEEEK!!!" She screams, she runs up to me as fast as she can in black sparkly heels

"I can't believe we made it all the way here" I say into her ear as we hug

"Me neither, no matter what happens out there on that stage we will always be best friends. Okay?" She pulls out of the hug and looks me in the eyes,

"Okay" I reply

"Come on" she holds my hand as we both make it behind the big door that opens on the stage. My heart is pounding at all the cheers outside in the audience. Knowing there is thousands of people out there watching us in the audience makes me shiver.

"Ready?, in three.. Two.. One.. Go" the director says, the big doors open in front of us and we both step down onto the stage, Nichole is stood in the middle waiting for us to join her. My heart is now beating so fast that I can hear it ringing through my ears,

"Hi girls" Nichole says as we join her, we both smile and look behind to watch Sam walk down. She is wearing a red sparkly dress and she looks amazing.

"Your hands are sweaty" Cassidy giggles, I swat her playfully on the arm and Nichole laughs.

"And the winners of the X factor is..." As Dermot speaks i close my eyes and hold on tighter to Cassidy's hand and Nicholes hand on the other side, my heart is now pounding furiously as tears are rolling out of my eyes,

"REI AND CASSIDY" Dermot shouts, my heart stops for a moment as me and Cassidy start jumping up and down. I look up to see confetti falling onto us.
