Awakenings

Project X awoken with a sharp pain riding throughout his body, Falling off of the ceiling Project X Hit the ground hard with a loud crash. "OW! Where is everyone?" X asked as he stood up but fell down as his leg overloaded and discharged shocks of electricity "They really need to fix that" X said to himself as he stood up.

X left his room and walked down the corridor slowly as he twisted and locked his arm into place causing it to power up and start to glow "Ah now that's much better, I can actually feel what I am doing". Walking down the corridor X checked the other project's rooms and noticed bodies piled up next to the incinerator. X Fell to his knees and sobbed realising he is alone and all of his friends have been killed "Why me? Why am I the one to be spared? I HATE IT!" X shouted as he punched the wall, leaving a crater into the wall.

"where is the Bionics Lab?" X whispered to himself as he wandered the corridors. X walked into the labs and looked around curiously but noticed a projection in the middle of the room "hello?" He asked as he got near the see through female.

"Oh, Hello Project X. My name is A.N.R and I have only recently come online but searching throughout the database has given me some insight to the lifetime of this research base and I would enjoy assisting you on getting to civilisation and surviving your situation" ANR said as she smiled at him.

"Hi" X replied as he waved at her but fell to his knees as his leg discharged again. "Sorry, my leg has been damaged from the training that they put me through. I was going to the Bionics lab so I could get it repaired but I found you instead. How come they've abandoned the facility and killed everyone but me?" X asked curiously.
ANR looked at X "the British elected a new prime minister a month ago. You was placed in stasis because of this. But I woke you up recently when I finally came online. The new prime minister has sent a team of twelve to come here and retrieve what has happened here." ANR reported.
"Oh, does that mean I get to leave this hell hole?" X carried on "where's the nearest city?" X asked curiously.
"The capitol of the Artic is twelve kilometres away straight from the hangar door. Before you try to make the journey, you'll need to get that arm and leg fixed" ANR replied.
"Well you can fix them in the Bionics lab, where is it?" X said calmly.
"Go to the next lab following that corridor" ANR pointed towards a white corridor leading to the Bionics lab. "Go there and I'll
Meet you there" ANR continued
X nodded and limped into the Bionics Lab but stopped when he noticed a black bionic leg and arm on the work table.
"Those are the X model Bionic limbs that are for you when your augmentation and mind wipe was completed" ANR said carefully.
X walked to the limbs and detached his right arm, picking up the arm he locked it into place and smiled softly "it feels good" X said finally as he stared at the arm. Looking at his leg, X pulled his leg off and attached his new leg. As the leg locked into place and lit up X grabbed his old limbs and threw them
Into the dismantlement machine "I'm glad to be rid of them" X added as he watched the machines dismantle the arm and leg. "ANR I want you to be uploaded into my HUD so I can talk to you anywhere please."
ANR nodded and X plugged his arm into the computer. "It'll take a hour or so depending on if you have a break" ANR mentioned as a progress bar appeared in front of X's vision.

X woke up slowly and looked up. " Project X, we have been sent to retrieve you" the man behind the mask said as he held his hand to shake X's
"Um thank you" X replied as he shook the man's hand.
"Where are we going? And when?" X mentioned as they led him out.
"They're taking us to the capital of the UK, now called Geneva" ANR said as X walked with the men
"Am I the only person able to hear you?" X asked in his head.
"Yes, you passed out as my system cortex uploaded into a AI chip in your arm. I should be able to talk and interact with you. Maybe with another upgrade I can hack computers in an instant"
"Project X, do you have a name at all? Something we can call you when you get into the capital?" The man asked as he led X to the truck in the hangar
"My name is X, at least as far as I know" X retorted.
"Well X, my name is Hugh" Hugh said as he stopped "I am the leader of the Sentinels, we are the elite of the elite when it comes to Bionic advanced operatives" X laughed softly and smiled as he got into the truck.
"Get some sleep X, we've got a drive to Articula" a woman said as she took her helmet off.
X nodded and led against the truck door and slept.
