The Monsters

We begin exploring most of the mansion's hallways and room and... there was a lot. Zombies roamed the area which we began taking out before coming across a room full of Knight statues, four of them to be exact.

(F/N): "Looks like a puzzle of some kind."

Jill: "How can you tell?"

(F/N): "I kind of like solving puzzles and those statues look like they should be moved somewhere. Come, help me with this."

I walks toward the statues and began pushing them to their correct spot. After a few minutes of figuring out where the statues went, there was a clicking sound. We look to see where the sound was coming from a tablet in the middle of the room, I take a closer look and look around the tablet to see a switch on it, I press it and at the far end of the room, gate lifts open which Jill walks over and takes a to find a jewelry box and takes it out.

Jill: "A jewelry box?"

I take a look at the box and notice a few buttons on it.

(F/N): "Some kind of lock?"

I manages to figure out the correct combination to the box and as it opens, it reveals some kind of mask inside.

Jill: "A mask?"

(F/N): "I have no idea, but it must be important to be hidden in a jewelry box behind a locked gate."

I put away the mask before we head out of the room and explore down a marble hallway. I had my pistol out and at the end of the hallway, a man stumbles into view making me raise my pistol at him. Jill and I watch as he leans against the wall and sits down, obviously in pain.

Jill: "Richard!"

(F/N): "Who?"

I asks looking at her run to the man before catching up to her.

Jill: "What happened? You're wounded."

(F/N): "Is he from Alpha Team?"

Jill shakes her head as she examines his wound.

Jill: "No, Bravo Team."

I nod and kneel down beside her.

Richard: "This... whole place... is a killing zone... There are... monsters...

Jill: "What did this to you?"

I look over his injuries and notice a a fang lodged in his injury. I take it out and take a closer look at it.

(F/N): "The only creature I know that has this kind of teeth would be a snake... a very, very big one, in fact."

Richard: "It was... and it had to be... poisonous..."

Jill: "Poisonous? Richard, hold on!"

Richard: "Bring me serum... I saw some, but didn't bring any..."

Jill: "We'll go and get it, okay? You're gonna make it."

Richard: "Thanks."

Jill helps Richard lie down as we both run down the hallway we came through and head into the kitchen to find some serum. Luckily, there was only one left which Jill gladly takes before we return to Richard who was still alive, but in lot of pain. Jill kneels down beside him as she gets the serum ready.

Jill: "Here, Richard. I'm gonna give you a shot. Hang in there."

JIll administers the serum to Richard and after she was done, he takes out his radio from his vest and hands it to her.

Richard: "Jill, h-here's my radio... take it... I'm..."

Richard convulses in pain a bit before getting up and looking at Jill.
