Avengers Tower

"Team meeting in five minutes!!" Tony, horribly, sing-songs, opening the door to my room and waking me.

"What the hell, man!" I say, sitting up to look at Tony, but he's already down the hall.

Cas stirs from beside me.
"Wow, talk about a rude awakening." She mumbles.

"I'm sorry, love." I kiss her shoulder.
She sits up and throws her feet over the side of the bed, heading to the bathroom.

She'd moved into my room earlier last week after her panic attack, plus Steve thought it would be good for the both of us.

I met her at her side, the two of us giggling as we danced around each other trying to clean up. She goes to the closet and throws a red, three-quarter sleeved shirt at me.

"Cover yourself, Barnes." She laughs.

"Or what?" I wink, stealing a kiss.

"Careful, Buck. You don't want to start anything you can't finish." Cas says, pulling away.

We finished getting ready and walked out to the meeting, hand in hand. Everyone looked happy to see us, but smirked once we made eye contact. Nat, Thor, Steve, Bruce, Clint, Sam, Wanda, Vision, and Tony stole all but one chair.

I roll my eyes at their childish behavior and sat down. Cas just stood there, hands behind her back and shoulders straight as if she were back at HYDRA.

"Cas, c'mere." I said, opening my arms.

"I'm good, Buck." She shook her head.
I heaved a big sigh, and got up to pull Cas onto my lap. She squirmed at the beginning, but loosened up. Everyone turned their attention back to Tony as if wishing to see more.

Tony claps his hands.
"Right then, I present to you," he clicks a remote connected to the powerpoint and the slide changes.
"The fifteenth annual Avengers (Mandatory) Gala!"

Some people seemed amused, others just had the face of 'not again'.
"C'mon, guys. It'll be fun. There will be games, dancing, food, a total social hour."

"That's what you say every year, Tony." Natasha says, picking at her nails.

"Well this time will be different, because we have Cas, our newest member, and she's never been to one."

Cas shifts her attention from me to Tony and smiles.
"I don't really have to go, right?" She whispers to me.

"Sadly, doll. It's mandatory." She continues to run her hand through my hair and I rub my hand up her thigh.

"Stop." She whispers. Only for a moment, then I continue.

"Bucky, stop." She whispers again, giggling."

"You two, okay?" Steve asks.
I nod.

"Yes sir." I reply, looking at Cas who nodded.

"Anyways, it's this Friday so have fun shopping." Tony races put of the room before people could protest.

"Aw, c'mon man. We need more than three days!" Sam yells behind him.

"Wow, Sam, didn't realize you're eager to go." Natasha teases.

"Oh hush, Romanoff."

I motion for Cas to get off my lap and she does, leaving the conference room. I follow her only after Steve claps me on the shoulder. I roll my eyes and follow my love.

"Cas." I say, pulling out the vowel.

"Bucky." She replies, pulling out the 'y'.

"Whatcha wearing on Friday."
