Authors POV

'I've had enough...' you think to yourself as you pack up your bags to leave for Mt. Ebott, they say that people who venture up there never return....and that's exactly what you wanted to do.
Your Father wasn't at the house 'probably out drinking and gambling' you think as you zip up your bag and started for the door. You stopped in your tracks as you almost forgot the heart shaped necklace your Mother gave you before she died, you walk up to your dresser and pick it up.

                       Flashback

You were standing there next to your Father, holding your dying Mothers hand and crying softly. "(Y/N), sweetie" your Mother says beckoning you to come closer "Y-Yeah m-mom?" Your voice cracked in between sobs as you stepped closer "I won't be able to survive for much longer" she paused "so I want to give you something that my mother gave me before I went to college" she said as she pulled out a gold-tinted heart shape necklace, inside was a picture of you and her smiling with your father " T-Thank you M-mom I'll cherish it f-forever" you say as you put it on "Sweetie I need you to make me a promise" "Anything mom" "When your older and strong I want you to climb Mt. Ebott and free all the monsters" you were shocked at first but understood, your Mother always loved monsters, their history, their magic, EVERYTHING. "Ok I promise" you said holding up your pinkie, your Mother follows wrapping hers around yours, the very last words you heard from your mom were "I wish you the best of luck sweet heart" the hospital monitor stopped beeping signaling that your Mother.....was Dead. You stared crying like no tomorrow and you walked out with your depressed and angry father.

           Time skip in the flashback

You had just gotten home and as soon as you walked in your father started yelling at you saying that her death was your fault. And you believed him........

                END OF FLASHBACK

You started crying, remembering the look on your mother's face before she died. You then wiped your tears and put the necklace on, you walked to the door opened it, and then went down stairs. Before you left you decided to leave a note for you father telling him that you were going to commit suicide and by the time he got home it would be too late. You then headed to the door and set off to climb Mt. Ebott.

TIME SKIP BECAUSE AUTHOR IS LAZY AS SHET

"This is for you mom" you say silently as you walk up to the hole in the ground, gripping your backpack you without hesitation jump down the hole, not expecting to survive, when to your surprise a soon as you hit the ground you blacked out, not seeing any white light.

                   Time skip again

You awoke noticing the pile of golden butters cups laying beneath you, they seemed a bit more crumpled up so you suspect that someone had fallen before you but not to long ago. You stand up and dust yourself off, your cuts and bruises hurt even worse now because of the fall. You start walking and notice a purple door with a symbol on it 'Its called the deltarune I think' you think as you remember a symbol like that one in one of your Mothers old monster history books. You open the door to find a random spot of grass you walk up to it and check it out, suddenly a flower with a face pops up, the flower then has a worried expression on its face and says "P-Please don't h-hurt me" He said terrified "Why would I hurt you?" "The s-so called 'caretaker' h-hurt me all the t-time" "Well I have no intention of hurting anyone" you said confidently "It doesn't work like that around here, it's a KILL or BE KILLED world down here" The Flower said frowning "I never got your name by the way" you said " Oh, i-its Flowey miss..." Flowey trailed off "(Y/N)" you said confirming your name, you then head stomping coming far behind Flowey "Oh n-no (Y/N) you n-need to run!" Flowey said cautiously "Why?" "SHE is coming" 'she? Who's she?'you thought as you saw a goat lady in the distance "I'm not leaving without you!" You yell as you reach out your hand for Flowey to grab,
But it was to late the goat lady had you in her grasp and before you knew it you were unconscious......
