My name is Kierra but people call me Kiki. I'm your 'round the way girl'. Everybody wants a piece of Kierra or "Kareem little sister." Kareem is my older brother that tries his best to 'protect' me. We don't talk much anymore since he recently moved out of town. Me and my mom still live here in North Carolina. I'm not the type to get in trouble but sometimes trouble finds me.
I looked down at my Rolex to check the time. I'm currently at work trying to get my hours in. I'm a Registered Nurse at the most popular hospital in North Carolina.
"Kierra your patient in Room 226 buzzed you." My fellow co-worker Mya said.
I got up and grabbed my clipboard walking towards Room 226. I knocked on the door before I entered.
Giving a warm smile I asked "You needed me?"
"Uh. Yes, I was wondering when am I being discharged?" A little old woman said.
I looked down at my clipboard with her information on it. It's says she's in here for heart disease. Her heart is only working at 60%.
"You'll be discharged once Dr.Stafford figure out what's causing your disease." I said checking her heart rate and other vitals.
"Do you know when that's suppose to be happening?" She asked sitting up on the uncomfortable hospital bed.
