"Riley, Riley, Riley wake up its Important" I heard my mother say in a panic tone, I opened my eyes blinking a few times to get used to the bright light of my window.i turned my head and saw my mom with red puffy eyes and at that moment I was terrified of what news was approaching me because my mom almost never cries."m-m-mom w-what happened"i  stuttered.

no answer."mom your scaring me what happened"i  said raising my voice a little. After a few seconds my mom lightly said"your father was in a c-car accident and...." she broke down in tears.i tried my best to comfort her but I too wanted to cry."and he.............D-d-died instantly".That is when I couldn't put on a brave face anymore and I cried, I cried for the first time in forever.

I must have been crying because Austin kept on tryeing to wake me up. An when I did he had a worried expression written all over himself

"just a nightmare no biggie theres nothing to talk about"

He loudly sighed probably Knowing why I was crying.

well as you see me and austin have known each as long as I can remember.

After a couple minutes of silence I asked if we can go to Starbucks or something and we both agreed and started getting ready, I got some clothes that are left here(since I sleep over alot I always have some clothes in here)

I went to the bathroom, locked the door and stripped my clothes off and hopped in the shower, I just let the steaming hot water pour all over me.

I got out of the shower and put on

a pair of high waisted shorts, an american flag shirt tucked in and a pair of black convers.

and the usual make up, powder, eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss.

when I came down the stairs I saw Austins piercing blue eyes staring at me.i shook the thought of how cute he looked and made my way to the door.We both hopped in the car.

"u look nice"Austin said.

"duh"i said in a sassily playful way.

"you look.........hhmmm...., ok I guess"i added but once again said it playful

he pretended to look hurt and put a hand over his chest

I just smirked and looked outside the window.

when we got there I ordered a cotton candy frappe

and Austin ordered an iced tea and we just sat and talked.we also wondered about Allison and Jake my other friends, I only have 3 friends but they are the best thing that has happened to me.
