Andy Fowler Pov

I was actually really nervous for my first day. Luckily I didn't have to start of early so that was a plus. When I had the class before I had lunch break this other teacher walked in the room. Oh no I am in the right room right. I walked up to him and started apologizing.

Oh sorry did you have to teach in this room if so I'm sorry I'm new and don't really know how everything works here." I was stopped in my rant by a chuckle and look at him. "No you're good in this room. I have this class for English and overheard them talking about having a new teacher so I thought I would introduce myself since i have a free period now." "Oh thank god I thought I messed up my name is Andrew Fowler but call me Andy and I am the new chemistry teacher anyway what is your name. Oh yes my name is Ryan Beaumont you can call me Rye though. And I am a English teacher and sometimes when my colleague Mikey Cobban can't I take his band class upon me. You will meet him soon."

He seemed really nice. I hope this isn't just a act and that he really is this nice. He asked me if I wanted some tea which I agreed for. He walked out of the room and looked in the class were 28 pairs of eyes looked at me.

"Hello class my name is Mr Fowler and I am your new chemistry teacher since the other one retired as I remember correctly." I looked in the class where I saw some people nodding to confirm my thoughts.

"Anyway let's just begin with names and I will try to remember as many as possible. You can sit every lesson everywhere you want but I want to have lab partners so at the end of the lesson I want everyone to have someone and to come to me so I know who work together for safety reasons."

I was around 1/3 of the class when Rye walked in the room with my tea.
When he gave it to me he whispered to me that I should wait after this les so he can come get me. I thanked him and he walked out of the room. That is really nice of him doing this so I'm not a loner on my first day.

"What was that about"
I was pulled out of my toughts by a kid who i just learned was josh. "It's nothing lets go on where we left it. The last one was Trevor." It went all smoothly after that. We didn't really do chemistry but it was more an introduction but who cares about it.

When the bell rang i dismissed the kids who left talking loudly. I packed my stuff slowly while I was thinking about Rye. What if Rye just let me wait in here for the entire break. Than all the others would think of me as some scared person who doesn't like to interact with them. I was pulled out of my toughts again this time it was Rye. "You ready?" he asked wile leaning against the doorpost. I smiled at him as we walked towards the teachers lounge
