the warm summer rays moved through the boys room as it quickly lit his room up bright, making the teenager groan from the brightness.against his will, he rolled out of bed, almost zombie walking over to his closet to wear something more.. nicer than his pajamas he had worn out from sleeping in so many times.
he quickly finished changing, in of course, his favorite clothing.
despite the hot summer weather, he wore light blue ripped jeans, and a basic supreme shirt.he walked down the stairs to be greeted by his mother, happily in the kitchen, making food for the teenager and her.
"good morning, sunshine!" she exclaimed in her happy as always voice that always made the boy light up into a smile. "good morning, mom." he replied before walking into the kitchen to see what she made.
"whats for breakfast?"
"pancakes!"she hummed, flipping one over before placing it onto a plate.
"the syrup is on the counter, grap anything else you want."
he smiled widely and quickly embraced his mom into a hug. "thank you~" he mumbled as he hid his face into her shoulder. quickly releasing, he went to the freezer, grabbing some chocolate chips to sprinkle onto the breakfast.- - do the skipping of the time - -
after the two had finished eating, the boy quickly rushed to retrieve their dishes, and went to the sink to go wash them out. his mom slowly walked into the kitchen behind him and hummed.
"so, i was thinking,"
she started to talk as she leaned her back against the fridge."oh, god, should i be worried?"
the boy joked as he put the dishes into the dishwasher."hmph, shush." she giggled before lightly pushing his son jokingly.
"would you mind if i signed us up for the exchange student project?" she asked as the boy washed his hands before turning around to his mom.
"hm, no. but did you already sign up?" he asked. knowing his mom, she probably already had signed up.
she smiled and went into her head tone, "uh, maybe-" she laughed. "of course i did." he sighed and crossed his arms."well, do we know the student we have yet?"
"actually, yes."
