Tainted Bloodlines

} Introduction {

A broad shouldered male is suddenly awakened from his slumber by a painful burning within the pit of his stomach.

'Shit, it's happening again' Seokjin thinks to himself as he sits up in his bed and reaches for the lamp on the nightstand, switching it on. His body feels like it's on fire as he slowly stands, trying his best to not fall over while he wobbles his way to the bathroom.

Jin stumbles past the heavy oak door and over to the counter, using the edge of the etched marble to help hold himself steady. He slowly raises his eyes to meet his reflection in the mirror. He watches as his once deep brown eyes begin to glow with a brilliant shade of electric blue just before another waive of pain shoots throughout his entire body.

He collapses onto the floor, clutching at his stomach while curling himself into a ball. His whole being becoming riddled with inconceivable heat and presperation. The cool tile, while a bit soothing, provides him with very little comfort.

'It will be over soon' the male tries to reasure himself. Although, he's not 100% sure if that's true or not. These last few attacks have increased in their strength.

He has tried to search for answers to his condition. His closest friend, and now doctor of sorts, Kim Namjoon, has been helping on his search for answers. The only problem is that no one has ever heard of his particular condition before. Even Namjoon is baffled, and he's a genius. The only thing that his friend is sure of is that Seokjin's condition is rare.

Extremely rare.

His DNA seems to be a mixture of two very different genetic bloodlines. Namjoon says that he is kind of like a hybrid of some sort. His rare molecules descend from a very old genealogy leading back to the Kings and Queens of past ages.

A case like his has never been documented before, at least not within the last one hundred years. Jin has tried to research further back, but the government only keeps so much content online for public viewing. Any findings that would go back before that time frame must be researched within the chancellor's library archive. And, unfortunately for him, only elite members of society are able to enter into that place.

Even though Seokjin's DNA heritage dates back to Royal blood, before the democracy that his country has now conformed to, it is so diluted that it holds no bearing for his social status.

The only assured way for him to find any true answers, without breaking into the government archives, would be to search for his long forgotten parents. Seokjin has no clue of who, what, or where they are. He doesn't even know if they are dead or alive, and honestly, he has never cared before. In his mind, he was abandoned by the two people that should have loved hom the most.

When Jin was about 8 years old, he found Namjoon. Or rather, Namjoon found him. Seokjin was wandering the streets alone, his wild alpha side was not yet developed fully at that time. After a chance meeting, Namjoon figuratively latched onto enchanting male. The two have basically been inseparable ever since.

Jin never thought to much about his family history because his Alpha ranking was extremely high. Namjoon had once said that Seokjin's abnormal genetic makeup alone was enough to get him all he ever needed or wanted in life. Even at an early age, Jin had found this to be true. His aura created an air about him that could make all other wolves bow before him, no matter their status.

Jin's Alpha nature makes him a cunning creature. Unmatched by any, his strength and agility could outlast the strongest of wolves. His alpha genes have blessed him with unparaleled dominance and power, able to bend the will of any who would oppose him with just one look. Not to mention his obvious unmatched charm and beauty. He was a true force to recon with.

That is... Until his body started to change.

It honestly scares the hell out of him. He is full of unanswered questions and unknown meanings that haunt him every day. He doesn't dare to see a normal physician. And all that Namjoon knows for certain is that somehow, he posseses both the Alpha and Omega genes.

And now... the once strong and almighty alpha's limbs are in a tangled mess, his body shaking in deliriously excruciating pain, laying on his bathroom floor.

Finally, After what seems like hours, the male slowly begins to raise himself up from off of the grey tiled floor. His chills and cold sweat seem to have subsided while he tries to control his previously laboured breathing. Seokjin leans over the bathroom counter, turning on the sink faucet in the process. His alpha senses make him snarl at the smell of the strong pheromones that his omega side had just let off. Jin splashes cold water onto his face and relishes in its calming effect. He gradually turns his gaze back up to the mirror to see his own reflection.

Jin's once blue eyes have finally started to return back to their original primal color...

A bright crimson red.

Okay babies, I think that I have finally settled on a story line for my next book.

It's gonna be TaeJinKook!!! I think I really like the dynamics between the three. This book is going to be way more on the mature side.

Ohhhh, The things that these three could do... With each other. 😏

Anywho, this is my own version of an Omegaverse. As you can see, it's going to be a little different from normal ones. I am going with a more primal form, closer to that of werewolves, but still with all of juicy tidbits that make that genre grand.

I haven't seen this idea before, and I thought that it could be interesting.

Let me know your thoughts, if I should continue with this or not.
