Sakura scowled, "Asshole." She muttered in annoyance when she saw several of her supposed friends surrounding Naruto and actually congratulating him. "So he made jonin. Big deal." She muttered before scowling and stomping away.

The pinkette didn't care that it really was a big deal, but it truly was. After all, the civilian council has been doing everything possible to keep Naruto from being promoted. This simple promotion was long overdue and a very good sign about his treatment. Of course, her main concern was not her teammate.

You see with everyone distracted like this that could only mean one thing. No one is currently working on bringing back Sasuke. Granted, no one has been hunting the guy down besides her and Ino, but she didn't realize that. Sakura believed that everyone took a break just to throw the blonde idiot a party and would continue after, but it was still a waste of time in her opinion.

"Stupid, isn't it?" Sakura looked over and saw an equally annoyed Ino walking up to her. "Want a drink?" She offered as she gestured to the door of the bar they were walking towards.

Sakura raised an eyebrow, "Haven't seen that bar before ... screw it. I need a drink."

Ino scoffed, "Tell me about it." She grumbled as they walked in and sat at the bar where a man was putting a few jars of jams into a basket behind the bar.

It seemed odd, but as Sakura and Ino sat down they noticed some things. The second they sat down they were close enough to see the shelves tucked around the corner behind the dimly lit bar. Those shelves had no alcohol. Instead they were stocked like a gift shop and had various foods, candles and homemade candies.

"I'm sorry. I was fixing up an order for a customer. I'm Julius. How may I help you, lovely ladies?" The clean cut, young dark haired man asked when he noticed Sakura and Ino.

"Got anything strong enough to make us forget the idiots." Sakura muttered as she tried to ignore the distant sounds of a party.

Julius nodded with a pleasant smile, "I know exactly what you lovely ladies need." He said and quickly mixed a couple smooth deep purple drinks. "This'll help you. I wish I could take it myself, but I have to work or my grandmother will be furious." Julius muttered as slid the drinks over to Sakura and Ino.

Ino scoffed and immediately took a swig in an attempt to drown out the commotion outside, "The reason behind the party makes it even worse."

"You mean the ... promotion." The bartender said slowly as if being careful about how he worded things.

Sakura immediately noticed the hesitation and smirked, "Yes. The idiot Naruto's promotion." She commented before sipping the drink. Both girls were pleased to see that Julius looked relieved. "We're fond of parties, but I'm not fond of him, especially since he took attention away from bringing our dear Sasuke back."

"Agreed. Everyone's priorities seem to be out of order." Julius said with a disappointed sigh. "Sadly, my grandmother doesn't see the same way. Not that she's a sympathetic person, but she doesn't like taking sides. She says it's bad for business so I've had to watch my mouth around the senile woman." The young man murmured sadly feeling more comfortable being among like minded individuals.

Ino licked her lips after another sip of her drink, "These drinks are delicious."

Julius smiled, "Why thank you. I call it Passion." He said as he topped off their drinks. After chatting with Sakura and Ino for a while he saw a letter slid under the door. "Another order. Excuse me, ladies."

The flushed and tipsy ninjas watched Julius curiously. They giggled at the odd names on the jars he gathered. However, what really caught their attention were some plain looking dolls that the bartender moved closer to them so he could grab something behind them.
