After many hours, the helicopter landed on the rooftop in front of the petite lady. She stood there like a statue as a handsome man with a gold wristwatch stepped out of the helicopter. They were now in Philadelphia, The City of Brotherly Love. The man was surrounded by three bodyguards, talking to them loudly about some important business matter. Even through all of this, the lady was silent. She didn't need to speak, her eyes said it all. The man froze when he saw the lady, she was standing there in the cold, blowing wind as still as a statue. She looked frail and delicate as if she would break if you touched her.
The man ran to her, trying to communicate with her, he cupped his hands around her trembling face. As he knelt down to look into her eyes, her eyes started to fill up with tears, her small face trembling. As they made eye contact, her tears fell down onto her face and she slowly shook her head. One lonely tear escaped from the man's eye as he put his head against hers. The lady fell down sobbing and she held her stomach with both hands. The man could only look at her pitifully, although he tried to help her get up she was too weak to get up.
Her sadness and weakness were pulsing through her veins, draining all her energy. The man engulfed her into a hug with tears rolling out of his eyes, she buried herself into his shoulder, still weeping. The man tried to console her, but honestly, who would be able to console a mother who had just miscarried? Just then, she pushed the man off her and stood up, backing away from him. She started pointing at the man and babbling at him, the man looked shocked and betrayed , he pointed at himself questioning her act.
The lady showed no sign of reply, she just ran off of the roof crying. The man ran after her and found her in her room crying. Looking around the room he saw pictures of them together smiling happily, thinking back to those memories made him feel lonelier and sadder than ever. He sat down on the bed near her. She started wailing and trying to push him off the bed but all he resisted and pulled her into yet another hug in efforts of assuaging her. She pulled herself out of his grip and pointed at him and then her stomach weeping miserably. He then whispered sweet nothings in her ear, trying to numb her pain.
She then showed him through gestures that her life and her world had died inside her along with her unborn baby.
Her life was stressful from the start, her parents had abandoned her after she was diagnosed as mute when she was five years old , leaving her to live on the streets. She was then taken into an orphanage where nobody there understood her so all she did for most of her life was cry and pity herself.Or at least that was until she met him; all he did was bring happiness into her life since they got married. Then, she was blessed with her baby which then died inside her. She was weeping harder than ever remembering her past and then she suddenly stopped, her expression frozen in place. The man noticed this and tried to wake her up, shaking her, calling her name. He couldn't and wouldn't accept this, but it was reality; she had died.
Even God shed a tear on ever this ever so gloomy day.
