P.O.V LARA JEAN
I race out of William and Mary my first week was miserable! I loved the building and the architecture it reminded me so much of UVA but they're was no Peter and I needed to transfer quick! Lucky for me UVA lost 4 students and even though I wasn't wait listed they said they loved my paper I wrote and wanted me to join UVA! So here I am running out of William and Mary to Peter Kavinsky's black Audi.
"Hey Covey!" Peter says.
"Hey! You wanna come up and get everything?"
"Yeah I'll carry everything!" Peter says this with emphasis.
"I'll help... a little!" I say.
We run upstairs together me struggling to keep up as usual why is Peter so tall and I'm so short?
We get everything and yes I help and bring it back to his car and we're off driving fast so I can get settled.
P.O.V MAYA HART
I'm sitting by myself in Lucas's red pickup stuck while he is inside the gas station getting snacks for only himself probably.
I'm waiting so we can get back on the road towards Virginia.
I'm writing songs... my passion
"I'm back!" Lucas says.
"Took you long enough Huckleberry!"
"Oh whatever you take longer in the mall!"
I ignore this and continue.
"Did you get me anything?" I ask
He has this look on his face that says oh shit! She's gonna be pissed.
"Uh I forgot I only got myself a beef jerky and a malt... do you want me to go back?"
I crinkle up my nose at beef jerky and malt Lucas knows that is not my taste in food... but I'll give him a break.
"No it's fine."
And at that we're off!
