Chapter 5

Y/n POV

I can't believe I am doing this right now. I am going to fight one of the strongest, no, the strongest character in Fairy Tail! I can't beat him, I can't- wait. Natsu isn't that strong yet! Right now I am fighting him where he hasn't gone against Laxus! I might actually have a chance. Unless he uses his magic, then I'm screwed. Hey tho! I have a chance. A slight one.

"You can beat him Y/n. You must have faith in yourself and use what you know in combat." Sam said and that's actually helpful

"Thanks Sam, but I don't know if I can even land a hit on him. He has trained longer than me and has more experience then I do." I whispered to Sam. He nodded his head and said use my head.

"Are you ready Y/n!" Yelled Natsu who was across the room from me. I nodded my head and got into a fighting stance. I was doing an anime stance from one of my favorite character and Sam looked at me weirdly. He asked me why I was doing this stance and I told him I got it from a warrior. Basically a anime character. Everyone is watching us and placing bets on us who will probably win.

Natsu attack me  first and I knew he would attack first, since he usually does. However, he charged up his fire magic and used Fire Dragon Iron Fist and this caught me off guard. I didn't expect him to use his magic right off the bat! I thought I was screwed, so I thought. Suddenly, as he throw his punch at me I docked under him and kicked him in the guts. He was kicked back and fell on the ground pretty hard. Man, I didn't know I was a heavy hitter and I was able to dodge that attack. Man I love my body, not in a sexually way.

He got up and smiled at me with joy. "I didn't know you were a heavy hitter Y/n and how did you dodge my attack so quickly?" Natsu asked curious.

"I got some good reflexes my friend." I said with pride in my voice. Man, this is actually fun! I didn't really expect it to be this much fun fighting one of your favorite anime characters.

Suddenly, Natsu charged at me again and I didn't move at all, because I knew my body would move. He did the same attack again and I waited, however this time my body didn't move on it's own and I got hit by Natsu. I was thrown across the room and it felt terrible! Sam came over to me and shacked his head with disappoint.

"You shouldn't always relay on your reflexes when you are in battle Y/n." Sam said to me and he was right, well kind of. I shouldn't always relay on them, but I should use it once an while. However, why did it cut off when he attacked again! Does it have a on and off switch! I got up and ignored the pain, then picked my head up to look at Natsu. He smirked at me.

"I can't believe you got up from an attack like that Y/n! You so cool and an awesome opponent!" He said with joy in his voice. I nodded and charged at him. It's about time I show some of my skills to everyone. Including the ladies.

Natsu POV

Y/n charged at with incredible speed and I was off guard by this. She got a solid hit on me and then spilled around and kicked me in the face. Man she is good! I looked at her and tried to use my fire magic, but she attacked me again, but I was able to block her attack. She kept on trying to punch me and kick me non-stop. Is she trying prevent me to use my magic!? If she is , then that's smart. She's trying to keep me away from using any of my fire magic on her, so she won't take any damage. I backed away from her and I took a breath  from all those attack. As I tried to regain myself, she charged at me again.

"Man you won't let me even take a breather now will you!" I said with a smirk and she smirked backed.

"If I do, then you'll use that magic of yours in me and I can't let that happen Natsu. Not at all." Y/n said to me. Suddenly, she swig her hand up and this got my attention, however I got hit under my chin and was knocked backed. Did she upper cut me!

Y/n POV

I can't believe that worked! I knew I could distract Natsu with my hand going no way, but I didn't expect him to actually fall for it. I was able to upper cut him and knock him back. We both looked at each other, and charged with our fist up.

A few hours later...

I throw my fist into his face and he did the same to me. We both backed up and looked at each other in the eye. We've been fighting for a while now and man we were exhausted. Both of us were really hurt and had blood leaking from our head and mouths. I noticed that everyone was shocked that I was able to stand against Natsu head on, but that's only because I kept on charging him so he won't be able to use his magic.

"I must admit Y/n. I didn't expect you to last this longer." Natsu said as his breathing was getting heavier by the second and so was I. I smirked at him and told him I won't let him win and he just chuckle.

"Really? Well then. HERE I COME!!!" Suddenly his fist lit up a furious flame of fire magic. Crap! I was distracted by looking at him in the eye around and talking to him to not notice that his right hand was behind his back! He was running to me fast! I have I got no chance, but to block it or counter it. He yelled Fire Dragon's crushing fang and his hand lit ablaze, Natsu swipes at me in a claw-like fashion, I throw both my hands to block his attack, but I doubt it would work and I would probably be knock out or thrown across the room. Maybe both! I closed my eyes and wanted to be thrown across the room... I didn't feel anything, except his hand hitting mine. I opened my eyes to see a black substance covering my hands to my elbows. What is this stuff? Somehow it blocked his attack and blew his fire away?! I was amazed, but I didn't keep myself distracted at all. I pulled him forward and punch him right in the face and it sent him flying across the room! He hit against a column and it broke, falling down and I saw Lucy right there not having enough time to get out of the way. The column fell too fast for her to react but I could safe her maybe! I ran to her, but I couldn't really run fast, because of the fight, but I kept on trying.

"Come on body! Please work with me this time!" I ran and ran when suddenly I was face to face with Lucy. Did I run down here or did I teleport!? I pushed her out of the way and the column hit me instead of her. I fell down with the column on top of me. I lost conscious.

Lucy POV

She saved me? Why did she do that? We don't know each other and she did grab my breast, but still. She saved me. Maybe she isn't that bad of a person? I noticed Sam, if I remember correctly, came to her and lifted the column and throw it away! I know the column is wood, but it has to be really heavy!!! He picked her up and I noticed she was in a pretty bad shape after the fight and the column landing on her. I walked up to him and asked if she's going to be okay.

"She might be okay, but I need to attain to her wounds. Could we go to your place to fix her up?" He asked politely. I guess I could since she saved my life. I told him to follow me and he did. We left the guild to go to my apartment. I hope she's okay. I looked at her with worry.

"Please be okay Y/n..."
