"Come on girls!" I call to my three best friends Samantha, Nicole, and Amy. "Coming!" They yell from across my all time favorite store Forever 21. My best friends and I always travel in a pack, no matter what. Whether it comes to shopping or major people drama. But This time we were looking for dresses since our second year of homecoming is just around the corner.
This year it has to be perfect, considering I have a perfect boyfriend, Nathan. Even his name is amazing. He's captain of the football team, and most popular boy in North Arries High School. His perfect brown hair is always well done and his eyes can get you lost in a split second.
"Vanessa? Vanessaaaaa? VANESSA?!" Amy calls
"W-what" I respond
"You were thinking about Nathan again weren't you?"
"PSHHHH no! N-no! W-who does that?!"
"You. And what do you think about this dress?"
Amy holds up a aqua marine strapless dress with silver sparkle on the top and it flows perfectly on the bottom.
"Hmm..." I say aloud
"Too sparkly. Too perky. Go with a darker blue."
"Oh. My. God. Your so picky!!!" Amy says as she rolls her eyes.
"Am not!"
"Yes you are! I've shown you like a million dresses and you said no."
"Oh.... Hehe..."
Amy rolls her eyes.

Almost 2 hours have passed and we go ahead and drive home. I drop off all of my friends.
"Phew! That was a long day..." I say aloud to myself
"THERE YOU ARE." My little brother Noah yells out.
"What do you mean?!"
"Well you've been out for 8 hours and come back with nothing but a soap you got at Bath & Body Works when you were supposed to pick out a dress for homecoming!"
"What do you know about this?!" I nag to Noah "Fashion takes time!"
"Yea, but not 2 months!!"
"JUST LEAVE WOULD YA?!"
"You are so mean..." Noah mumbles under his breath.
"What was that?!"
"I-I uhm said that you were beautiful......?"
"Hmm. That's what I thought."

*Ringtone alert*
Oooooo! It's from Nathan! But wait whys Nathan texting me at 1AM in the morning? I read his text message. His message says, "Go outside. I have to tell you something. Important. Come out. Now."
I was in shock. I got up and went outside. I knew this moment was coming. I just didn't know when. And I definitely didn't expect for it to be at 1AM at night.
