I walk down the stairs slowly trying to wake up. I disable the alarm so I don't wake up my parents, if I do, then I probably would never see daylight again. I open the door and walk outside.
"Nathan? Nathan...? Y-you here?"
The bushes move and make a strange sound as if somebody were hiding in their.
*Twig snaps*
My hands were getting sweaty and I started to tremble in fear.
"N-NATHAN! THIS IS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE..." I yell
"BOO!!!!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" I screamed on top of my lungs.
"Oh my god I got you so well" Nathan says as he's laughing uncontrollably.
"UHG. What do you want Nathan?"
"Come, let's go."
Nathan walks me over to the park about 10 minutes away. When we get over their I was super surprised.
There it was. Small little unscented candles across the street spelling out "HOMECOMING?" And a colossal poster reading "Roses are red, violets are blue, what are the chances, of me going to homecoming with you?"
"Vanessa Rose Kirk, will you do the honors of going to homecoming with me?" Nathan says behind the banner.
I being my emotional self, I start crying. I run over to Nathan and give him a big right hug and say yes. Just yes because at this moment I'm speechless.
"YAY!!!!!" I hear several voices coming towards us.
My eyes widen.
"Samantha?! Nicole?! Amy?! W-wha- Mom & dad?! What are you doing here?!"
Then Nathan's football friends come out of no where.
"SURPRISE!!!" They all yell.
"HOLY CRAP! WHERE DID YOU GUYS COME FROM?!"
"Uhm. From the bushes over their..." Jacob, one of Nathan's friends reply.
"Come on! Now that that's over let's go to my house for a sleepover what do you say?" Nicole blurts out.
"I'd love that!"
I look over to my parents and they nod they're heads giving me approval I can sleepover.
"Can I at least get another hug?" Nathan says
I run over to Nathan and give him another hug and quick peck on the cheek.
~~~At Nicole's house~~~
I set down all my things and I lay on the couch.
"SNAP. OUT. OF. IT." Samantha yells.
"I CANT! Did you see how cute that homecoming proposal was?" I say blushing.
"You can thank me it was MY idea." Amy states.
"Thanks Amy. You sure know romance."
We watch the movie "Mean Girls 2" and I quickly fall asleep.
~~~Afternoon next day~~~
"Come on girls! Hurry it up!" I say. We were getting ready to go to the Santa Monica beach here in L.A. with everybody that came to the homecoming proposal last night.
