(A/N) I changed Gaga's hotel from the beginning to her penthouse. It just makes more sense, you know? 💕

Tara's POV:

We searched for my baby for an hour, but there was no sign of her. I miss Atalia so much and only angst and pain is coming from this. I'm sure Gaga misses her too because she keeps whispering,

"We're coming babe... We're coming... I promise..."

I shook my head and tried not to cry. I had no idea where she could've ended up, and I needed her so bad. Knowing my little sister is as hurt as I am breaks my heart, but it angers me to know that mom would give her up. I pulled over in to a parking lot and grabbed my phone out of the console. Gaga asked,

"What are you doing?"

I shrugged and looked down at my phone to unlock it.

"I really don't know anymore."

I typed my mom's number in as fast as I could and pretended that Taylor and Gaga weren't there. In fact, I don't care if they hear what I'm about to say.

"Hey Tara! H-"

I interrupted,

"WHY WOULD YOU GIVE UP ATALIA?! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WE ALL LOVE HER, AND I HAD PROBLEMS WITH LIFE BECAUSE OF YOU. SHE WAS NEVER SICK, SHE WAS COMPLETELY HEALTHY UNTIL YOU LEFT HER WITH THOSE PEOPLE. SHE RAN AWAY AND WE CAN'T FIND HER. IF SHE'S DEAD, IT'S YOUR FAULT. I'M SORRY FOR YELLING. I LOVE YOU, BYE."

I hung up the phone and dropped it back in the console. I took a deep breath and exhaled for a moment. Gaga broke what was left of the silence by saying,

"I'm so glad you have manners though... I would've made your parents cry with what I have to say. I'll save it until we find out if she's okay."

Yeah, I know I told her sorry.

Yeah, I know I told her I love her.

I'm not the type to make people upset, but I'm really angry.

"Stefani, I don't know why I told her sorry. I guess I just don't have the guts to make her cry again."

Gaga nodded and looked over at Taylor. He had fallen asleep with his cheek pressed up against the car door.

"I understand Tara. I guess Ashley's-..."

We were both silent for a minute.

"Gone..."

I nodded and started to breathe heavily. I bashed my fist on the dashboard four times as hard as I could and yelled,

"WHY'D IT HAVE TO BE HER?!"

Taylor's head shot up and he looked around frantically. He sighed with relief and Gaga put her head on his shoulder.

"W-What's going on?"

Taylor coughed and grabbed his chest near his bullet wound.

You know, if they weren't here, I would have been better off. However, I need them here. They're the only two people I have left at this point.

"Shshshh. Tay, calm down honey. You're fine..."

Gaga tried to calm Taylor down, but he was freaking out. I mean FREAKING OUT. He shook his head and said,

"No. They're here, and I need to f-"

Gaga shook her head.

"Taylor, the gang is already gone, you don't have to be worried. We're looking for our daughter, okay?"
