1818
The White Moon Pack was the first werewolf pack the Moon goddess created.
The pack mainly considered of huge white werewolves, much bigger and stronger than the average werewolf. For the past three decades, Alpha Theodosius has led the White Moon Pack to become one of the strongest and most feared packs in Greece. They lived hidden deep in the Fokida forest. That was until other rebellious tribal packs created a rumour that if a werewolf kills a White Werewolf, they will become stronger and more powerful.
Alpha Theodosius' pack was attacked on 4th November 1818 the slaughtering of his pack went on for almost two days. The only way he could save his family is to flee Greece. He didn't like the cowardly feeling in the pit of his stomach of running instead of fighting, but the thought of him losing his Mate and his remaining two small children caused his wolf to whimper inside him more than his Alpha ego bothered him.
Alpha Theodosius POV
The smell of death and blood is overwhelming, a werewolf senses were more heightened. My two smallest pups were crying and clinging to their mother, my mate, Selene. Her beautiful face was still holding strong façade, but her green eyes gave away the fear of losing EVERYTHING! Our two oldest sons were already slaughtered in the vicious attack on our pack, and their hearts were ripped from their bodies and eaten by the tribal pack warriors. The tribal packs were persuaded to believe that if you kill and eat a White Werewolf's heart, you will become more powerful and stronger. Unfortunate for the tribal packs, it was not true. Yes, White Werewolf is bigger and stronger than the normal werewolf but killing and eating our hearts didn't change anything.
"Theodosius, we need to do something! We cannot stay here! What are we going to do?" Selene pleaded with our small children still wrapped around her legs. I gave out a big sigh " Αγάπη μου (my love), I fear we must run..." I cupped her face and kissed her forehead "All our warriors have been killed; it is only the four us that is left. If we don't leave now, we will also be slaughtered. The last of our kind will be dead." Tears were now running down Selene's face; all our family and friends have been brutally killed. "Were would we go?" her voice was almost breaking "We must make a run, towards our boat. We will sail towards the South. And we would have to make our wolfs dormant, to keep us safe and alive. Hopefully, we will be save there". She nodded, tears still running down her face.
We grabbed a few valuables and shifted into our White wolfs, tying the small children on our backs and made a run for it. Selene was almost attacked, she moved away just in time before the big brown wolf jumped on her, but our daughter, wasn't so lucky, she was in the way. She was scratched badly by the browns wolfs huge paws; her small back was cut open with his sharp claws. I quickly turned and went for the brown wolfs throat and ripped it out, blood spilling from his neck, he was instantly killed. Penelope was screaming from the open wounds on her back. My wolf wined off the thought of losing yet another pup. We got onto our boat and shifted into our human form and dressed quickly, Selene was holding Penelope small body, trying to comfort her. I quickly tried to stop the bleeding by applying pressure to her wounds. But my little girls' life was slipping away. We were losing her... Selene gave howl while snuggling Penelope's weak body to her chest.
I steered the boat out into the open sea. Once we were in a save location, I sat next to my mate and waited for our precious daughter to die. Our youngest and now only son was sleeping soundly next to Selene, he was still too young to understand what was happening, he just turned one a few days ago. With the last whimper, Penelope breathed out her last breath.
We will be save, but never be the same again.
