Midnight's Last Stand

Twilight's dream:
"Twilight," said Princess Twilight, whom was in her human form. "It's finally glad to meet you."
"How is this possible?!" , asked Twilight.
"It's your dream," replied Princess Twilight.
Suddenly, Twilight sensed a familiar evil presence. "No! It can't be!" , she cried out.
She then saw a familiar looming figure. It was no other than Midnight Sparkle.
Midnight Sparkle said, "Oh, I'm not here for you. I'm here for the princess!" She then lunged herself into Princess Twilight's body.
"Princess!" , cried out Twilight.
Princess Twilight said, "Twilight, you must alert Sunset and the others. You seven and my friends from Equestria are my only hope!"
"Understood," said Twilight.

Twilight then woke up. She then looked at her clock. It was only 6:00 A.M. She frantically looked for her cell phone. When she found it, she dialed Sunset's number. She then said, "Sunset; I'm sorry to wake you up but, there's something I must tell you and the girls! Alright, by the portal in an hour."
An hour later...
"Twilight!" , said Sunset. "You sounded like you were in a panic when you were on the phone!"
"Princess Twilight may be in danger and it's all my fault!" ,said Twilight. She then began crying.
Perplexed, Rarity asked, "Whatever do you mean darling?"
" Midnight Sparkle, " replied Twilight. She then explained to her friends the dream that she had last night.
"I thought you defeated her," said Rainbow Dash.
" I thought so too, " said Twilight. "But apparently Midnight has plans for the princess. The seven of us must work together with her friends in Equestria. That's what she told me in the dream."
Suddenly, something vibrated from Sunset's bookbag. She opened it and found it to her surprise, it was her special journal. It was a message. However, it was not from Princess Twilight. Instead, it was from someone else.

Dear Sunset Shimmer,
My name is Starlight Glimmer. I am Princess Twilight's student. Anyway, she had made a strange request that I the her up in a chair. I did so. However, she then asked me to write you a letter and wanted me to mention two words that mean nothing to me, except for the fact that one of them was part of her own name. MIDNIGHT SPARKLE. I hope you can help me and her friends here figure out this means.

Sunset then closed her journal and said, "Twilight, this letter confirms what I suspect. It may have started out as a dream but, it turned into a vision."
"Does that mean the princess is going to turn into a she-demon?" , asked Rainbow.
"Sadly, yes. This won't be an easy task to do," said Sunset .
Twilight hung her head and said, "If I hadn't built that device..."
Applejack said, " We've all fergiven ya. We just have ta focus at the task at hand. "
Suddenly, a familiar figure had came through the portal. However, it was one that wasn't friendly.
"Hello girls!" , said the figure. She then turned to Twilight and said, "I must really thank you. I was really getting tired of that body of yours."
"GET OUT OF OUR FRIEND'S BODY!!!" , yelled Twilight. "She didn't do anything to deserve this!"
Midnight then hissed at Twilight. She then said, "You are weak!"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!!" , yelled Twilight. "Girls, let's show this thing what we can do--and save our friend!" She and her friends then activated their necklaces.
"What is this?!!" , demanded Midnight.
Ignoring Midnight's question, Twilight said, "Forgive us princess." She and her friends soon blasted Midnight with a huge rainbow blast that had connected with another one that came through the portal, in which both had hit Midnight.
When the smoke cleared, what had remained of Midnight was Princess Twilight Sparkle in her human form and--unconscious. This made Twilight a little worried.
"Is she..?" , asked Twilight.
The princess slowly came to. She then got up and said, "Thank you." She then noticed a small black swirling ball of energy.
Pinkie had taken an empty and out of her hair and captured the ball of energy. She then sealed the jar.
Pinkie began scolding the ball of energy. "Bad Tantabus! Bad! Bad! Bad!" She then handed it to Princess Twilight and said, " Make sure Princess Luna gets this. "
Princess Twilight sighed. "I'm not going to even ask." She then said her goodbyes and then went through the portal.
Twilight said, "Pinkie, I don't think I'll ever understand your 'Pinkie Logic'. "
Sunset said, "Trust me on this Twilight, you won't."
