Blackout

Today, there was no sun. Nothing shone through the windows.
My arm aches and I can't help but hold it. Adding to the pain.
Outside it was dark.
((—still night?—)) I ask myself
I look at the time instead
2pm
((— wow I slept in longer than yesterday!—))

At my senses start coming back, I can smell something delicious, breakfast?
I start getting up, but my body comes to a sudden stop ((— jam—))
She was in the kitchen, cooking the breakfast that smelt so good.

"Oh! Good morning paint!" She says with a sweet smile
"Umm. Good morning" my voice was shaky, I don't trust her anymore. Now taking a few steps towards the table, I see that my arm had been tied up in a harness, using a bandage
"Did, you do this?" I ask her "yes I did! I didn't want to hurt you, and I didn't want you to see, so I did it a few minutes ago while you where passed out" she exclaimed with another small smile "oh, thank you"

((—she's being so nice, why? Just yesterday, she pushed me down the stairs and broke my arm—))
"Why. . . Are you being so nice to me?" I ask, taking a seat
"What are you talking about? I'm always nice! I actually ordered some tickets to metatton's show!"
" oh you did?" I say a bit surprised and excited ((— no. She's acting odd just yesterday, don't trust her!—))
"Yea, where leaving soon, so eat up!" With that, she puts a plate of toast eggs and bacon on my plate
It's smells really good.
Don't eat.
But I'm exhausted.
It might be poison.
But it smells so good.

My mind wonders if I should eat or not, well, she's eating it, so it must be good! Right?
With a shaky hand. And a mouth hesitating to open.

I take a bite.

Just like last time. It tastes amazing, I chew it and swallow. Nothing happens. It's safe?
"What's wrong? Are you allergic to something?"
"No it's ok! I just. . . I'm not hungry "
"Are you sure? I can make you something else!" I can't help but let out a giggle " its ok jam!"
((— maybe I was worried about nothing? Maybe the staircase incident was a accident? Whatever it was, she's ok now—))

After eating the rest of the food. I felt better.
Finally some good fuel in my stomach.

I let out a small sigh, and lean back "thanks for the breakfast! It was delicious" I smile and she smiles back. She stands up and takes my plate to the sink.

"Ready to go to the show?" She asks
"Oh! I need some more clothes to put on!"
"Don't worry, I have some in my room. I'll go pick some out for you" with that, she leaves the kitchen. "Jam is being so nice! Good food. Nice manners, she's really is the best!"

After waiting about 10 minutes, jam calls me upstairs. I do as asked, and walk up.

"I found an old dress. It's pink, is that ok Paint?" "It's perfect!" I smile "great! You go get dressed, I'll wait out here"
She exits the room and shuts the door behind her, leaving me alone.
Her room was quite clean, an odd smell coming from her closet. I shrug it off as dirty clothes or something, and put on the dress. It was a little tight, me being a bit wider than jam, but it fit. The dress was a pastel pink colour with lots of flowers and a few sparkles.

"Jam! I'm done!" A call from the room
"Great! Come out whenever your ready!" She calls back
I go to grab the handle of the door, re-smelling that awful stench ((— what could possibly be that disgusting?—)) I shake my head and ignore it again, turning the door nob and exiting the room.

"Oh wow! You look amazing in that dress!" Jam says happily
"O-oh! Thank you!" I say back "are you sure I can wear it? It's really nice! W-wait, what are you going to wear? Do you have anymore dresses? I would check the closet, but it's really stinky, oh! Maybe we can g-" "SHUT UP!" I jumped by jam's sodden yelling. I stared at her for a moment, her face had darkened and she wasn't looking back at me ((— I-I mean, I WAS yelling and talking to much —)) I let out a small "sorry" and look away
