4. I need you.

Haeun's POV

I walked out of the music room and sat at the rooftop, sobbing as I had the photo of Taehyung and I in my hand.
"What did I do wrong?" I sobbed to myself ripping the photo into pieces, throwing it off the rooftop.

Taehyung's POV

Walking away from Haeun was the hardest thing I've ever done, but, eventually my feelings should finally fade if we spend less and less time away from each other, right? Getting out of my thoughts, I reluctantly walked to the park.
About 7 minutes have passed and I saw Jimin and Minhee there at the park.
"What?" I asked coldly.
Minhee and Jimin seemed taken aback, but stayed calm.
"Minhee, Tae and I are going to talk alone for a bit alright?" Jimin told her and she nodded and gave us some space.
"You broke the bro code." I said with cold eyes right as Minhee walked away.
"I know dude, I'm sorry but-"
"But what? We both agreed neither of us would date her." I said in a cold tone.
"Listen, she said she'd never like you. It was my chance to take it, don't leave her like that. She needs you." Jimin stated.
"You're her boyfriend, she needs you more than me."
"Taehyung. You're her best friend, longer than all of us have! She needs her best friend."
I shook my head.
"Not going back to Haeun." Right as I said those words, my heart broke. Of course I wanted to go back to Haeun but I just can't see her again, at least not until my feelings are gone.
"Anyways, you said Minhee needed to ask me something?" I asked emotionlessly.
Jimin grabbed Minhee towards me and she asked,
"Taehyung, I've liked you for awhile.. and I wanted to know if you'd be my boyfriend?" Minhee said, with a ring on a necklace in her hands.
I sighed.
"Minhee, I look at you as a little sister, I can't date you." I said with no emotion and as I was walking away from the pair,
"Or is it because you're in love with Haeun?" Minhee said out loud.
I turned around, upset, angry? I can't believe she brought up Haeun, even if I didn't like Haeun, I can't look at Minhee any other way than a sister.
"Haeun said she would never love you so tough luck!" Minhee said out of anger.
"She loves Jimin, not you!"
"Minhee stop!" Jimin tried to stop her.
I just ran off. I don't want to see Minhee or Jimin again, if Minhee can't take rejection and said those things out of anger than so be it. Yes she may have been angry, but when you say things when you're mad, they tend to be the most real things.

Haeun's POV

Taehyung really blocked me, on everything. I sobbed as I look at pictures of us together.
"Sweetheart? Are you okay?" Jimin and Minhee walked into my bed room.
I wiped my tears and put down my phone and wore a fake smile.
"Oh! Hey Jimin! Hi Minhee!" I smiled at them.
"You don't need to fake your happiness in front of us, babe. We know you're hurting." Jimin stated. I shook my head. Minhee then explained everything that had just happened with them and Taehyung.
"Wait wait wait, back it up. Taehyung likes me?" I asked.
Jimin shook his head, but he seemed panicked.
"No, Minhee was just angry and assumed things."
I nodded my head understanding, or trying to.

*Timeskip*

Jimin and Minhee left my house as I laid in bed, thinking about Taehyung.
Frantically, I looked at SKYPE hoping he didn't block me there too, since we hadn't used it in ages and we'd just use regular FaceTime, I assumed he forgot. And my assumptions were right. Taehyung did not block me on SKYPE. I took that as my chance and FaceTimed him. It took a few seconds but finally he answered.
"What do you want."
"What did I do?" I asked desperately.
"Nothing."
"Then why are you mad at me?"
"Because, you did nothing."
"Huh?"

*Timeskip*

It's the next day of school and I was still shocked by what happened last night.
I walked to school alone, not wanting to see anyone.
I found myself at the front of the school, and looked up and noticed no one was at the rooftop, but when is anyone at the rooftop? I made my way up there.
I opened the doors to the roof and sat on a nearby bench. Jimin and Minhee had no idea I've been sitting here so they can't find me. Ring. The bell started to ring, and I made my way down to my classes.
I sat in Science with Taehyung next to me, but no chatters. Just silence between the both of us.
"You will be choose your partner for the project, since it's due Monday. Go ahead, choose!" Mrs Kim said as the whole class began to scatter.
There's always been one kid who worked alone since we had an odd number of students, but today that was me.
Taehyung had looked at me and looked away and headed towards Yugyeom. One of Kook's friends who happened to be in our class.
I sighed, realizing everyone had partners except for me.
"Well Ms Lee, looks like you're unlucky today. The rest of the period you can work on your projects." Everyone began to work, except for me. I couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung.
I needed him. He was my best friend. We did everything together, but last night..

*Flashback to the call last night*

"I don't understand Taehyung."
"You didn't do anything when my feelings were clear."
"Your feelings?"
"My feelings, but no, you'll never like me. You'll always like Jimin."
"Taehyung. This is a stupid reason to leave me."
"It's not. God damn it I'm in love with you Haeun!"
"I-"
I was shocked. Taehyung was in love with me?
"Taehyung."
"I need you Haeun. But you'll always need Jimin. I can't stand to see you with another guy. Which is why I'm leaving our friendship."
"But Taehyung.."
"I loved you Haeun. More than myself. I loved you."
Call ended.
